"So how was your childhood?" Leanna asked.

"Terrible, my parents were very abusive, and when I came out as gay it got way worse."

"Oh, wait you're gay?"

"Yeah."

"Me too, well I'm pan"

Cool. What are we eating?"

"Whatever we decide to order, I can't cook."

"I can cook for us," Jules said.

"Yeah sure," Leanna said.

"You're helping me though."

"Fine."

"C'mon."

Jules got up and headed to the kitchen, Leanna followed.

"What do you have."

"Let me check."

Leanna walked over to a pantry in the corner, she opened the door and looked around.

"We have pasta."

"Okay that's good, let me check the fridge."

Jules walked over to what she thought looked like a fridge.

"Oh spinach, butter, garlic, and cheese. We can use these."

Jules grabbed all the ingredients and put then on the counter.

"I'll put on water, why don't you chop the garlic." Jules instructed.

Jules looks through the shelves and eventually found a pot. She put water and salt in it. She was about to turn on the heat when she heard a scream from behind her.

"Aahh" Leanna screamed.

"What is it?" Jules asked as she turned around quickly.

Leanna held up her finger for Jules to see. Her finger had a deep cut in it and was covered in blood.

"Oh my God, where's your first aid kit?"

"In th-the closet by the bathroom."

Jules ran out the door and ran around the house, she found two doors, and opened one of the doors. She opened one and inside was a toilet and sink. Then she opened the next one which was a closet with multiple shelves. She looked around and on the top shelf was a small red bag. She grabbed it and ran back to the kitchen. When she got there, she opened the bag and looked for plaster and antibiotics wipes.

"Wash your finger" she ordered.

Leanna went over to the sink and put her finger under the tap. Afterward, she walked back to counter. And held out her finger.

"Okay, this might sting a little," Jules said, then rubbed the wipe over it.

"Uhh" Leanna groaned.

Then Jules took off the wipe and put the plaster over it.

"That's better," Jules said and held Leanna's hands between hers.

They looked into eyes of each other and didn't say a single word. Leanna leaned in and pressed her lips softly onto Jules'.
