Sweatshirts

They are a couple

you know this because they walk around with each others sweatshirts on

who really owns the sweatshirt though?

did the person whose name is on the back give it to the person they're going out with?

what will happen to that sweatshirt when everything starts to fall apart?

will it be shoved in the back of a closet and never pulled out again?

will it be burned?

will it be tear stained?

will it be given back to the original owner along with a part of the other person's heart?

will it be looked at and smiled at because it remindes them of their first and only love?

will it be handed over to a friend in another state?

a cousin?

will it ever be worn again because it bears their name?

if it does get worn again will the wearer cry because it reminds them

of

was

like

before

everything

started

to

fall
