Reincarnated Into a World of Magic

"Lady Scarlet, Lady Scarlet, where are you?"

A womanly voice called out to me. It was the maid Ms.Cora. I was currently playing a little hide and seek with her. I was truly trying to sneak into my dad's office.

I'm currently five years old, and sadly I'm not a boy. But I'm a beautiful young girl, I have silver hair and Scarlet red eyes. I have a lot of hair, so I always have to keep it nice. My mother always wants me to wear skirts, and dresses. She says it's proper for a lady.

I hate them, and I always switch my clothes when my mother isn't around. Anyways back to sneaking into my dad's office. I'm really doing it to learn about this world. What I know is that there are five kingdoms in this world.

Fera, Lila, Jade, Iris, and June. My mother, and father are the king and queen of June. This world also has magic, which I found out from this book I'm studying. In my father's office there is a book about magic, and it tells you basically the basics. There are three stages of magic.

The first stage enhancement, this is the most basic stage but still is very useful. A person uses this type of magic to boost their physical abilities like strength, durability, agility, and endurance. This is the most commonly used magic in the world. The next stage is the elemental stage.

This is the stage that takes a while to unlock but most people have it. It's where you get an elemental magic which consists of fire, earth, wind, and water. Many people only have one of the elements mainly for the fact it's because you normally only have an affinity for one. You could learn the others but it's so hard so many people don't try it.

Then there is the last stage. The stage only known to one in this world has unlocked, the god stage. This is where some who knows all the elements, and full mastery which normally takes decades gets access to special magic, gravity, lightning, creation, plasma, darkness, light, and time. Not much is known about them in full detail but that's fine.

I plan on becoming the second person in the world to acquire that type of magic, but first I really need to convince my mother to let me do such a thing.

"There you are Lady Scarlet, you know your father doesn't like you in here."

Well it looks like I was found.

"Yes ma'am."

I pouted as I walked over to her, and she took me out of the room. She would take me to my mother who I didn't know was looking for me but it didn't really matter. She has me now.

"Scarlet! What happen to the cute outfit I put you in?"

"You know I don't like wearing those clothes, and plus we don't have fancy event going on, so I should be fine."

"I know that, it's just I want to get in all in before you start training. I know how much you want to become an adventurer."

Right, I forgot to mention that. There are people known as adventurers in this world, who go out on missions for the kingdom. They can go on small quests like getting someone's cat or something, but they could go on others. Like fighting magical beasts, or getting intel or any other kingdoms that seem hostile.

It doesn't seem like a great fit for me since I have such a high status but I don't care, I want to go out and fight. I'm not going to stay and have the pitiful life I had before.

"Scarlet, are you paying attention to me?"'

My mother was speaking with her arms crossed looking down at me.

"Sorry, I kind of got lost in thought."

I chuckled as trying to look innocent as possible, my mother just sighed as she kneeled down, and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Could you please just hold out for 5 more months."

"Yes ma'am."

I gave her a soft smile, and I planned on doing it for her. It's only five months, it can't be that bad, and it'll put a smile on her face which makes me happy.
