Dusky snapped out of the mindspace. the whole world came into focus around him. Luna ensnared, and the walls of vines around him.
"Luna"
"Dusky, I'm going to die" Luna said bluntly.
"But-"
"Dusky, I need you to tell everyone that I sacrificed my life to stop the breath of evil."
"But what if can I save you?" Dusky said, tears welling up in his eyes.
"You can't, or everyone will still be mindcontrolled by Wasp"
"B-b-but"
"GO!"
Hurt, Dusky sees a hole in the vines, and he jumps through the hole. He hits the ground with a thunk and he look in through the hollow in the vines. Dusky sees Luna thrashing with the vine in he eye, something red around the vine, and suddenly, her thrashing stops.
"no" dusky said softly
Tears dripping down Dusky's face, he turned his head away, he couldn't watch it any more. He closed his eyes and ran. He ran until he hit the wall, which wasn't far. Dusky opened his eyes, dizzy for a second. He sat down and waited, hunger clawing at him.
"Luna, Dusky"
"Help! Cricket help!"
"Dusky!"
