Ch.3 Taking Care of Shiki

Eri's POV:

I wake up to find myself hugging Shiki. As always I still don't want to get up, so I bury my face into his shoulder. And slowly fall asleep again.

I feel a nudge and a groan coming from Shiki. I look up to see him really pale and in pain. "Are you ok?" I ask him quietly. He shakes his head in response.

"How do you want me to help?" I ask him. "Pain medicine, cold cloth, ice chips, cold water, and saltine crackers," He mumbles to me.

"K, let me go get them... In 15 minute," I whisper to him and cuddle up to him. He looks a little surprised but soon falls asleep, as I'm drifting off to asleep I feel something wrap around me and pull me closer. And then I fall asleep with him holding me.

30 minutes later I wake up and realize that Shiki was hugging me, "Hey," I whisper to him, "Are you still feeling sick?"

He nods, "Let go for a few minutes, I'll go get you your stuff." He lets go of me and I roll (literally) out of bed and on the floor and there I stretch. I get up and walk out of the room I get to the hallway and I front of me is the staircase. I look at it in disgust, but then have an idea and smirk. I get on the railing and slide down, when I see the guys eating at the table having dinner I yell, "What'z Up!?" They turn to me surprised, I leap off the railing, do a plié and bow.

"Megaru," I say while running towards the garage, "where's a hammer?"

"In the garage on the left side, there should be a board where all the tools hang," Megaru yells at me. Secretly the guy have a conversion while I went to go get the hammer.

Nobody's POV:

"Why does she need a hammer? Does she really want to bash Shiki in the head that badly?" Satoru asks.

"Oh yeah. That reminds me I went into her room to check on them right before dinner and I took quiet a few pictures," Haruhito smirks.

"Are you serious! I want to see...!! But wait, that's breaking one of my rules," Kakeru says.

"OH MY GOD! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID RULES, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS," Haruhito screams in irritation but then fan girls.

"Fine... But we forgot to warn her about not falling in love with one of us. But I'll still come see," Kakeru says while walking around the table to see the picture.

"I'm going to have to secretly ship them," Saturo says stunned.

"Can you send me that," Megaru asks.

Everyone else looks at him stunned. "Woah, I guess your growing up Little Meggy," Saturo slaps him in the back.

Back to Eri's POV:

'Where is it?' I think to myself while searching for the hammer. When I find it I yell, "Finally! I found you," and proceed to scold the hammer.

I walk back to the kitchen and see everyone huddling around Haruhito. "What's going on?" I ask while walking past them to the kitchen, "also where's the ziplock bags?"

"Third cabinet to the right," Kakeru points.

I nod, grab a ziplock and walk over to the freezer put ice in it. Then I drop it on the floor, get on my knees and proceed to hit the bag with ice several times before I'm satisfied. I get up to find everyone staring at me in question. "Ice chips."

"Huh?" Megaru says.

I sigh and walk over to some cabinets and start opening various ones,"It's exactly as it sounds like if you want to put it simpler it's shards of ice."

I finally find a small bowl and put the ice chips in it. I leave it on the counter, walking over to at cabinet with all the medicine in it. I start reading the medicine bottles when I find one that I think will work I turn around still reading the bottle and ask, "Does Shiki use this when he's sick?"

"I think," Megaru replies.
"Wait, is Shiki sick?" Kakeru asks me.
"Mhm..." I reply.
"He never takes care of himself," he tells me.
I nod. I also grab the thermometer, going over to the pantry and grab the saltines. I collect everything Shiki asked for and head upstairs. I get into my room and say, "Here." I put the stuff he wanted on the nightstand and go to the bathroom to get him a cold cloth. When I return he's smiling faintly and says, "Thanks, especially for the ice chips because everyone else in the demon house doesn't know how to make them."

"Welcome," I reply, "tell me if you need anything, I'm going to eat with the guys down stairs."

"Mhm," he nods and goes back to sleep.

I go down stairs, eat, return to my room, shut the door, get on the other side of Shiki and fall asleep.
