“Tyler” I whispered, trying to awake him. “I can’t get out of your hold!” I squealed quietly. His large, muscular arms were wrapped around of me. I wiggled a little bit. Still couldn’t get out. I felt like I was a criminal held hostage. I let out a long sigh, I started to feel hopeless. I heard my stomach growl again. I groaned. I looked at Tyler, hopeful my noises had woke him. His breathing was slow and steady. His caramel brown hair fell over his eyes that stayed closed.
“Ty! I’m starved! Please wake up!”
He gave no response.
“I hate you.” I mumbled.
Suddenly, his arms squeezed me tighter. I gasped.
“What did you say?” His raspy morning voice whispered. His hot breath on my ear gave me spiders crawling down my spine.
“I-I’m hungry.” I lied, my voice suddenly shaking. He gave a deep, dark chuckle and let me go. “I thought so.”
I just laughed nervously. I swung my legs off the bed, letting them dangle off my high level bed. “What would you like to eat, my princess?” Tyler asked starting to leave the bedroom. “Anything, I just want food.”
“What do you say?” Ty asked me like I was a little kid.
I whipped around, now facing him. My jaw dropped. “Are pretending like I’m a child?” I asked him shock.
He was leaning against the door way with his arms crossed only in his boxers. His chest was perfectly molded; abs and everything. “You should by now to use your manners miss Joanna.”
I rolled my eyes. “May I please have any food in my fridge that you can cook?”
“There ya go!” He congratulated me. He walked out of the room to go cook. I smiled. I peeped my head out the door and watched Tyler walk down the hall way.
“I’m taking a quick shower!” I yelled to him.
“I’ll be cooking breakfast!” He yelled back.
I closed the door and twisted the lock making it click. I tiptoed to my bathroom to start the shower. I stripped off my pajamas and stepped into the steaming shower. The hot water ran down my skin and soaked my hair. It was relaxing and silent, besides the water hitting the shower tile.
“WHAT THE HELL?!?!” I heard a familiar voice yell. I froze. It couldn’t be….
“I’m so sorry Mr.Brown!” I heard Tyler plead.
“What in hell are you doing here?! And you’re in your boxers!” My father yelled once again. It was silent for a few more dead seconds. “Where’s my daughter?!?”
“In the shower, sir.” Tyler answered in panic. “You better not of touched her!” Father yelled again.
“Rick, calm down.” I heard my mother speak up.
“Don’t you tell me to calm down! This bastard is in our house ALONE with Joanna!!” He screamed. “I’m going to beat your ass-“ My father threatened.
I couldn’t stand this anymore. I shut the water off and wrapped a towel around my wet body and stormed out of the room, to the kitchen. The smell of bacon and eggs filled my lungs, making my stomach twist. I needed food.
“Dad! Leave Tyler alone!” I screamed.
“Tyler huh? That’s this little bastards name?” my dad pointed to Tyler, who was frozen still. I nodded. My mom just stood there, not doing anything; as usual. “Yeah! He’s my boyfriend. Now leave him alone!”
“Uhhhh. Joanna… I think we should end it.” Tyler spoke up. His brown eyes were wide open.
“What?” my voice screeched. Pools of tears started to form in my eyes. My heart suddenly felt like it had stopped beating.
“I have to go.” Tyler said, looking at my father frightened. He grabbed his car keys off the counter where he left them last night. “See you at school.”
Tyler shuffled down the stairs and shut the front door softly behind him.
I burst out crying. He was the only person I had.
“You’re sixteen, Joanna Marie Brown!” He scolded. “You don’t need boys sleeping with you! I can’t believe how much you’ve turned into a whore!”
That was it. “I HATE YOU! I WANT TO MOVE OUT!” I screamed. I turned around on my heels and ran to my room.
“When you get the money, you little slut! Go hang out on the side of street and have sex for money, the little hooker you are!” My dad yelled back.
