You see, the trio of Akira, Vain and Ezaro were known across the planet SpearKind as the Fearless Trio, or the Fantastic Three. Even known as the Free Three. The nickname was given to them by the president of the world, due to the fact that they all were free. Fearless. They had always been together and nothing could separate them. It was magical, and every person in the world wished they were like the trio. They were always adored. Some saw them as villains but most saw them as heroes. Their most recent mission was to stop this monster that had been unleashed from their form of a zoo that had contained many dangerous life forms. It had always been recommended that the place be shut down, but the government wouldn't listen, and eventually, one of the monsters escaped.
The entire team worked hard to stop the monster. It felt as if it took months to stop the rabid beast from hurting anyone.
Very few people were injured, and after that day, the trio had been given multiple awards for their bravery and masterminds.
Flashback to a few weeks ago, moments before the attack.
Akira was laying on the couch, staring at the ceiling. She kicked her feet around, wishing she had something better to do.
There was a loud crash outside.
Apparently Ezaro and Vain were already outside, dealing with the sudden monster that had inflicted chaos upon them.
Akira rushed from her spot, going to the underground base where they kept the weapons.
She grabbed her famous ray gun that had always been seen in her work, whenever she attacked the unwanted villains of this planet. Then, she grabbed her bow, dipped the arrows in poison and ran outside, wearing her mask that she always kept on to hide her identity. The others, Vain and Ezaro, had also worn masks and a hoodie. They knew it was best to hide their identities.
Akira saw them fighting the monster. She pointed the bow at the life form, grabbed an arrow and...Didn't shoot. The monster saw her before she could shoot, hitting her across the yard with its tentacle. Akira groaned, standing up and looking at the monster with dizzy eyes.
"You messed with the wrong warrior." She whispered in a low voice, grabbing her ray gun and shooting the monster right in its head.
Vain jumped out of the way, throwing his classic machete into its arm, cutting it off completely. Purple blood had gushed from the wound.
Ezaro, who already had his weapon lodged in the monster's stomach, pulled his staff out and ran away. He expected it to attack him, which is what it attempted to do. Ezaro jumped out of the way of its flying tentacle, grabbing his crossbow and shooting it right in the eye.
"LEAVE US ALONE ALREADY, DANG IT! WE'VE GOTTA WATCH A MOVIE!" Ezaro screamed, firing multiple on-fire arrows at the poor monster in front of him.
Akira climbed up a tree as quickly as she could, aiming her poisoned arrow at it. She used one of the technology devices Vain had made for her to jump across the tree and onto the house, flying the arrow directly at the monster's nose mid-air.
Once she had made it onto the roof, she crouched behind the chimney, grabbing her ray gun, shooting it in the other eye and blinding it completely.
"USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGES! KILL THE DARN THING!" Akira screamed from on top of the building.
Ezaro had already gotten distracted by some random animal that pranced along the "battlefield."
Vain threw a stick at Ezaro, hitting his head.
"STAY FOCUSED, DUMMY!"
Ezaro winced, grasping his staff and flew all the way to the tree Akira once was located. He pointed his crossbow at the wailing monster in front of him.
"I hope you apologise later for interrupting our movie night."
Ezaro nodded at the others, lighting another arrow on fire and casting a spell on it.
Vain grabbed his machete on the floor, enchanting it and getting ready to throw.
Akira grabbed her ray gun, loaded it with poison and screamed, "LET'S GET IT ON!"
They all fired their weapons at the exact same time, hitting it directly in the chest, supposedly the heart.
And just for desperate measures, Akira shot the monster with another arrow.
The cursed life form had collapsed to the floor. It crumbled up into dust and the trio let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank Starry it's dead."
Starry was a nickname for the God of their universe. The planet was quite odd, but they managed.
They stood there as the police arrived.
The entire trio was injured. Cuts on their bodies, bruises on their eyes and blood flowing from their noses. They were all so relieved once the monster died, fading out of existence.
Hopefully there wouldn't be another attack to ruin their next movie night.
