It's been 4 years since then and Jungkook avoided every couple or single looking for a child to adopt. He has made up his mind that he's going to live with Jin for the rest of his life and eventually take over the orphanage.

"Jungkook you can't do that, you need to experience a real family, I love you, I really do, but you need a real family," Jin said trying to drag the 12-year-old out of their shared room. It's not like Jin wants the boy to leave him exactly, it's just that he knew the boy needed another source of a parental figure, he had been really soft on the boy.

"But, what's wrong with living with you, you taught me how to read and the other people here teach me other things and I don't ask for a lot of toys so

I'm not that expensive, plus no one-"

"Don't you dare say no one wants to adopt you." Jin threatened. Jungkook shut his mouth and stared wide eyed at Jin. "Come out today okay? And if someone wants to adopt you, let them. I will make sure they are going to take care of you. If it doesn't work out after the week, then I will stop trying to get you adopted and you can stay with me forever and ever and eventually take over the Orphanage deal?"

Jungkook thought for a moment and agreed. "First person who wants to adopt me."

He sat on the couch watching a lot of the others get adopted. he knew that they wouldn't want to adopt him people come here to get older high school kids. He didn't exactly know why but he didn't care. If he didn't get adopted today then he gets to stay with Jin forever. He watched the adults walk right past him, not even sparing a glance. Often times there would be older girls and they would smile at him but none of them offered to start a discussion. They probably thought he didn't know how to speak.

Jungkook looked at his hand and touched the ring on his thumb. It still wouldn't fit his other fingers, he always wore the chain necklace and made sure it wouldn't get damaged in any way. He still couldn't wear the bracelet but he liked to hold it sometimes. It was currently sitting on top of the drawer in his shared room he didn't want to take the risk of losing it.

The day was about to end, the sun was going down, cars zoomed passed to get home, and the orphanage was empty besides the kids that hadn't been adopted yet. and Jungkook had a huge grin on his face, he was really going to be able to live with Jin. Speak of the devil, Jin came up to him after the other kids got ready for bed.

"Okay Jungkook, you can-" the front door of the orphanage opened and a man with a black jacket walked in. Jungkook stared at him frozen with fear. Jin blocked his vision with his body.

"Hello, what brings you here sir? Are you going to wait for your wife? If so-" the man put up his hand and shook his head.

"No, I wanted to come in here before it closed,.there should be an hour left right? I want to adopt the youngest child you have." He said, closing the door behind him gently.

Jin studied the man. He knew Jungkook would be afraid of him, the man wore a leather jacket on top of a plain white T-shirt. There was also a small gold chain necklace around his neck. His hands were now in the pockets of his ripped jeans as original black high-top Adidas covered his feet. Trailing his eyes back up, he saw the soft, calm, almost tired-like face of the man and the red that framed his face fit him well.

"Uhm, this his really just an orphanage for teens, if you're looking for a child around the age of 5...." Jin felt Jungkook grip his leg from behind and he bit his lip, praying the man wouldn't see the orphan.

Jungkook was terrified, the black jacket reminded him of the day he went back to the orphanage. Sounds of broken glass and parents shouting replayed in Jungkook's mind as he held onto Jin's pants.
