Worth It

After 2 minutes of staring Hermione talked.

"Are you going to talk or what?"

"Talk about what?"

"I don't know. Maybe WHY did you snog me?"

She walked away from him. She sat on the couch as he talked.

"The question should be 'why didn't you do it before?' "

She blushed but angrily answered.

"Ron what the hell? First you snog me then flirt with me."

Ron was angry too. He walked to Hermione. She had to look up to see his face.

"What the hell? Well I broke up with her but you don't stop complaining about her. I know she is not flawless, I know but I broke up with her. Did you hear that? It finished. Just like you wanted. That means-"

"That means nothing Ron. You are my bestfriend. That's it and I didn't have a problem with her."

"Hermione. Stop talking non-sense. Did you hear what you said? You? Not having problem? Lavender? We are talking about the same one right? The one you were jealous of?"

Hermione stood up and walked to the door of The Common Room.

"Does it matter? Don't underestimate my brain. You thought I didn't fucking realise why you were with her, didn't you? You wanted my attention. Guess what? You succeed. Congratulations-"

Ron hold her wrist and turned her around.

"What do you mean 'You succeed.'? It made it worse. McLaggen happened. When I realised my mistake I wanted to break up but guess what? There was soneone else who cared about me. Not because she was supposed to. Mum, Dad, Harry and you have
to care about me but she wasn't suppose to care. You know the feeling more than me. Krum and McLaggen. The feeling was amazing and I couldn't stop myself. After a month I get it. Your reason to avoid me and run to him."

"I didn't run to him-"

"Let me finish. I am a sidekick but not a daft one. Advantages of being best friend of a walking encyclopedia. Your behavior. I don't know how but I got it. It was the reason I broke up. You are the reason. I couldn't stop myself falling for my bestfriend. After that second I realised that you grew up. You were not the buck toothed frizzy haired bookish girl. You are bookish now but you don't have the buck teeth and your hair is not looking ridiculously a lot for your head and, I can't believe I am saying those to you but you are beautiful. Until fifth year I couldn't listen guys talking about you because you were a sister to me. Now I can't listen it too because I don't want any guy drooling about my beautiful bestfriend and you know how protective I am but-"

She moved closer to him while he was talking. She was lost in his beautiful blue eyes.

"Ron, you are rambling."

"Why do you think? I declared my emotions but you were unusually quiet. I couldn't imagine your reaction and-"

"Ron."

"Merlin,Hermione say something."

A tear streamed down her face as she talked.

"You don't know how much you are important to me. I love you since the third year. I watched you flirt with girls but I got your attention with stupid fights which I don't remember their reason. Now I am happy that you know. I am sorry if I couldn't make you feel worthy but you are the one I care. I hung out with Krum because I was angry to you. You asked me as a last resort. Until that day I told Krum that I'll think about it because I was waiting for you. And McLaggen because I was jealous of her. You are one of the most attractive guys in our year, all the girls were talking about you and I couldn't tell anyone my emotions. Harry and Ginny would be shocked or your brothers would laugh their arses off. Luna would say something strange. I didn't want to risk my friendship with you. I don't want to risk it now, too but you are worth it."

Ron closed the gap between them and kissed her again.
