I woke up around 6 am because I had to go home, our town was flooded and everyone had two days to evacuate. So I had to go pack up everything. I missed Taylor now more than ever. She kept texting me and it took all my will power to text back, I'm sad, I feel like death, I can't even cope without her. Now my house!
I pushed all my clothes into a big suitcase I took when I went a cruise, packing up baby pictures, medals, everything. I couldn't help but cry.
When mine and Taylor's song came through on pandora I cried harder than I already was until I called her to find out where she was, she was at new port, that was about and hour away. I packed up all my stuff that I wanted and left the rest behind. Family. Friends.
I took every it of money out of my bank account and went and picked up Taylor in new port and left. I didn't think this all threw, I didn't have money out the ass. I didn't have a place to go, I just knew Taylor was with me, and that was enough.
We pulled into an old hotel room about 2 hours later we were in Springsteen. The hotel wasn't big and fancy but it was cheap and held me and Taylor for the night. So now, here we are in bed. And I'm not sure what our next move is, I just hope it's good.
