I was confused because I didn't know what Jessie meant by 'we're on our way'. I guessed that it was probably a typo so I ignored it and sat down on a bench, after her didn't message me back.
A few minutes later a saw a black Mercedes pull up in front of me and as the door opened I was greeted with the still familiar face of my older brother. He ran over to me and pulled me into a tight hug rocking from side to side. I was so happy to finally see him again!
"I CANT BELIEVE YOUR BACK!!" Jessie shouted into my ear, making me flinch but I started laughing.
"I KNOW!!" I was truly happy to be back because it meant I could be with him and see my family again.
We finally pulled apart and I walked over to the passenger side of his car. I was about to open it but I saw someone was already sat there. I couldn't tell who it was because Jessie's windows were almost blacked out so instead I just sat in the back of the car behind the drivers seat. I fastened my seatbelt, as Jessie threw my bags into the car. I leaned forward a bit to try and get a look at the person in the front and as soon as I did Jessie was back inside of the car and started the engine. As he pulled out of the parking spot and began to drive off he looked at me in the rearview mirror.
"Maddy this is Marcus he plays with me for United!"
Marcus. I recognised his name. He twisted round in his char to half face me and he took off his sunglasses.
Marcus Rashford. That's who he was.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you" He said smiling in his strong Mancunian accent.
"Nice to meet you too" I replied, returning the smile.
"Marcus and I are roommates so you'll be living with us both, you have your own room and bathroom tho. That's alright yeah?" Jessie asked me. I had no idea that they were living together I guess Jessie could that at least told me but I don't want to start anything to I just agreed.
"Yeah that's fine"
"Great!" My brother said me now smiling as well.
For the rest of the car journey we just spoke about random subjects like work and football. Despite my brother playing for United, I had always supported Manchester City. I don't know why but I have always preferred them as a team. Not that I was really into football nor disliked my brother's side.
When we eventually pulled up onto the driveway I looked to see an huge house with a huge driveway. It was like 10 time bigger then my house in Barcelona and I thought that was big.
"You guys actually live here?!" I was so shocked I knew Jessie and Marcus were rich but I had no idea they could afford this and the Mercedes and whatever else they own.
