Between The Two

Chapter 1

::Anita's P.O.V::

I sat in my room crying my eyes out. I loved him so much. I can't believe I had to break up with him.

Flashback~

I was thinking of ways to do this. I picked up the phone and called.

"Hey bae." He said. I sighed. I'm gonna miss that voice.

"H-hey we need to talk." I said. My voice was cracked.

"Uh ok, what do you wanna talk about?" He asked.

"Meet me at the park." I said while putting my shoes on and getting my jacket.

"Um ok see ya." He said.

"Bye." I said before I hanged up. I left the house and started walking to the park. When I got there I sat on the swings and started thinking. I soon got out of my thoughts when I saw a figure coming towards me. I realised it was Diego.

"Hey." He said when he reached me.

"Hey." I said while looking down.

"What did you wanna talk about?" He asked. I was still looking down. I couldn't look him in the eye knowing how hurt he would be.

"Umm...we have to break up." I said quietly just enough for him to hear.

"What? W-why? Did I do something wrong?" He said on the verge of tears.

"No no baby. It's because my mom has a new job now as a lawyer and I have to move...to L.A." I said as a tear slipped my eye.

"B-but we could work this out. Please baby." He was now crying. I looked up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm sorry." I said and walked away. He was calling my name. I started running back home. When I got there I ran to my room and balled my eyes out.

Flashback over~

I started packing the stuff that I had left to. Soon my room was now empty and my bed and stuff was in the moving van. I sighed. This is it. When I went downstairs I saw Diego.

"Diego? What are you doing here?" I asked. He looked like he was hiding something behind his back.

"Hey. Umm, I got something for you before you leave." He said and took out the thing that was behind his back. It was a royal blue box and when he opened it inside was a young and yang necklace. I was shocked.

"This one is for you." He said handing me the ying (white) one putting it around my neck.

"And this is for me." He said and smiled at me. I smiled back.

"I love it." I said. Honk honk. I heard the moving van honk telling me they were ready and it was time to go. We walked outside. I have him a big hug.

"I'll miss you." He said in the crook of my neck.

"I'll miss you to." I said and gave a small smile. We released from the hug and I got inside the van. We were gonna be driving there. The van started and I was looking out the window.

"STOP!" I shouted. The van did a hult and I got out. Diego was walking back home.

"Diego! Diego!" I shouted. He turned around and I ran to him. He gave me a confused look. I gave him a long passionate kiss. He responded back and I felt him smiling through it. I pulled back.

"I love you." I said and I put my forehead on his.

"I love you too." He said and smiled. I smiled back. I walked to the van.

"Goodbye!" I said and waved before going inside. When the van started to move he was still standing there. I smiled and waved and blew him a kiss. He smiled back and caught it and put it to his heart. I kept looking until he was out of distance. I sighed and laid back on the seat. I plugged my headphones in my phone and listened to music. My screensaver was a picture of us smiling at each other. I started touching my necklace remembering all the good times we had. This was gonna be a long ride. I soon fell asleep thinking about him.
