The night sky swallowed the boy as he walked on the empty street, staring at the freckles sparkling in the dark abys of space. Something about walking around aimlessly in the sleeping city was therapeutic to the blonde. Every night was like this. He would crash on his bed after a stressful day at work, and his mind would scatter across the room. Sometimes he could tolerate the thoughts that would appear in his horrid mind, but today was too much. So he did what he usually did: run away.
He continued his walk around, until he reached his apartment complex again. He didn't plan to go back in his apartment, so instead, he went to the very top and sat the edge of the building. He looked at the city below him, only a few cars drove past and some drunks walking around harassing everyone that they walked past. He looked up, and stared at the cloud covered moon and red and green flashing lights, probably an airplane.
Felix sat there, and his mind escaped his grasp again. The thoughts he was suppressing suddenly erupted in a cloud of despair and self hate. He grabbed his head, hissing at the banging headache that fogged his vision. "Fuck... go away..." The memories that he hated flooded his mind and a ringing noise surrounded his ears. He was so out of it, that he didn't hear the door to the staircases open.
Before he knew it, there was another person standing next to him. He turned to the standing figure, and the boy stared back. "You planning to jump or something...?" The boy asked bluntly and Felix looked at the boy slightly shocked. "No, I just like the adrenaline of sitting at the edge. Are you?"
There was a small pause.
"Nah, I just need inspiration for something." The boy sat next to Felix and looked at the city. "I just thought that maybe I could get inspiration here." Felix hummed in response.
There was another pause, longer this time.
"May I ask why you're here?" The brunette turned his head to Felix, slightly tilting it. Felix thought for a moment "I wanted to distract myself from... myself." He shrugged at his own answer. "I can't handle my own thoughts, I guess. Usually I come here when I need some distraction." A small hum emitted from the taller. "I see. Is it distracting you enough?"
"Nope." He chuckled the response "I had a headache before you came. Doing this doesn't distract me enough." A deep sigh escaped his lips.
"Do you think I can do anything to distract you...?"
"If you have something that could occupy me for a really long time, then sure." A small silence flooded as the brunette turned to the city again. "Maybe you-" before he could finish, a loud buzz emitted from the pocket of his hoodie. "Oh, nevermind. Good luck with yourself I guess." The taller stood up and waved at Felix before walking back inside the building.
Felix stayed at the edge of the building, staring at the city below again. Soon enough, he got bored of it and went back inside aswell, going down the stairs and heading towards the elevator to go to the floor of his apartment.
Once he reached his door, he unlocked it with his pin and headed inside to his bedroom. He crashed on his bed again and stared at the blank, white ceiling. The lights were off, the only source of light that surrounded the room was his phone that was on his night stand, still on. The thought of the brunette entered Felix's already flooded mind, and made room in the smallest space of the boys head. Although the thought was small, it stained his mind permanently, a memory that would replay over and over again.
"I wonder what he needed inspiration for..." As he thought, his eyelids felt heavier, and he slowly drifted to a slumber.

A burning light woke up the blonde, and he groaned as he slowly lifted himself off his mattress. As his eyes slowly blinked open, he realised that he fell asleep. It was quite shocking to the boy, since he usually never sleeps. He shrugged the thought off and he left his bedroom and headed to his bathroom, taking a long shower and changing into presentable clothes.
As he left the bathroom, he opened his phone and noticed it was a Thursday. "Fuck... why do I have to work today..." he groaned out before heading out of his apartment with his essentials. He decided that he could just make himself a coffee when he got there, and left without eating.
As he headed in his workplace, the scent or coffee flooded his nose. A small gasp was heard behind the counter as a squirrel-like boy ran towards him. "Lixie! It's good to see you today!" The boy embraced Felix into a hug, and Felix happily hugged back "good to see you too Jisung." A warm smile formed on the two's faces as their hug ended. "I called you last night but you didn't answer~" Jisung whined as he tugged on the blonde's hoodie sleeve. Felix tilted his head in confusion as he checked his phone, and Jisung in fact, did call Felix. 19 times. "Oh, I'm so sorry Sung, I had my phone's notifications off." He scratched the back of his neck as a small chuckle fell from his lips. "It's alright I guess... let's get you in your uniform! There's no time to waste on the past." Jisung smiled as he dragged the boy into the staff changing room. "Be out in five minutes! Aperently we're going to be busy today." He waved his hand as he walked out of the changing rooms and back to the counter. Felix smiled before going to his locker to take out his uniform to change into.
After he got changed, he headed towards the counter and made a coffee for himself, before going out to take the orders of the patient customers. Nothing crazy happened in his shift, so Felix wasn't very overwhelmed after. He got changed into his normal clothes and walked out of the cafe with Jisung by his side. Luckily, Jisung lived in the same apartment complex as Felix, so they always hung out at eachother's place.
Felix knew that Jisung developed a liking to his brother, Minho, and he always found it funny when Minho would leave his room to talk to Felix as Jisung would be blushing madly only at the sight of the purple haired. On the other hand, Jisung also had an older brother, but aperently, he would always be in his art studio, so Felix never saw him. Though he does hear about him when they hang out, how the older brother is always so sassy towards Jisung and how he never opened up about anything at all, so Felix had a slight picture in his head.
Today, Jisung said that he was too tired to hang out, so Felix, after they went their own ways, went back to the rooftop, slightly hoping that the mysterious tall brunette he saw last night would miraculously come back to the rooftop.
