Angry Birds 2 (Glenn x reader)

Chapter 3: The Weekend

I wanted to change the scenery a little bit so this is when they get time off of work and get to go home. This scene is also based off of the short clip "take your hatchlings to work day" from after the Angry Birds movie was completed. (Hatchling parents not mentioned cause they weren't mentioned in that clip) Also the gray hatchling is hatchling 1, the pink hatchling is number 2, and the green one in number 3. My writing is trash so...enjoy!

Glenn's POV

We finally get to go home after a long and difficult week. I can't wait to get back to the kids and grandkids. The moment me and y/n open the door, we are tackled in a large hug of our 3 grand-hatchlings.

"Abuela (grandma), Abuelito (Grandpa), We missed you."  The hatchlings Shouted simultaneously.

"We missed you too Los jovenes" (young ones) y/n said while I started to laugh and tickle the hatchlings. Y/n looked at me and giggled as she too started to tickle the hatchlings. Their laughter made our rough week at work disappear from our minds.

Time skip

Y/n POV

I just finished reading the hatchlings a bed time story and put them to bed. When I walked out into the living room, I see that Glenn's office light is on. I walk over to his office to see that he is sleeping at his desk with more plans for the super weapon.

"Glenn..." I whisper as I walk over to him and stand behind his chair. I gently tap his shoulder and he shifts slightly and mumbles. I then slowly lean down and massage his shoulders and neck and his eyes slowly open.

"You know, the point of taking off of work on the weekend is so that your not working Mi amor (my love)" I explain as he places one of his hands over mine on his shoulder.

"I know. I know. I just... can't seem to make myself get away from it all." He states with a sigh.

"Why don't you come to bed and get some proper rest." I ask. He slowly stands up and I walk him to bed.

Glenn's POV

I realize that y/n is worried about me so I comply with her suggestion. As we walk to bed I could tell that I wasn't the only one who had a rough time falling asleep properly from the sound of her slow, tired, quiet footsteps.

Once I lay down I close my eyes and feel her hesitate to lay in bed. I open my eyes and reach for her wing slowly pulling her under the covers. Once she was completely in bed I wrapped my wings around her, pulling her to my chest.

"Buenas noches mi esposa (goodnight my wife)" I whispered as we both fell asleep.

The Next Day

*Hatchlings planning*

"Ok so we have to sneak into their room and... hmm." Hatchling 1 thought.

"We could jump on the bed!" Hatchling 2 suggested.

Hatchling 3 started wandering around the room looking for something to chew on.

"We could but what else should we do? That might not be enough to wake them up." Hatchling 1 asked trying to think of something else.

"We could tickle them as revenge for tickling us yesterday!" Hatchling 3 said as he found a piece of apple and started to naw on it.

"That's perfect!" Hatchling 1 states.

"LETS DO IT!" They said at the same time and high five.

End of POV

The hatchlings moved towards the bedroom and they snuck in. Y/n was snuggled up into Glenn's chest as they slept. The hatchlings then carefully and quietly climbed onto the bed. After a few seconds they pounced and jumped on their grandparents laughing and giggling as they tried their tickle attack. Y/n and Glenn tried their best to pretend that they were still sleeping. Once the hatchlings gave up Glenn and y/n jumped up and started tickling the hatchlings. The family played in bed laughing and giggling until it was time to get ready for the day.
