Chapter 1: "The Begining"

You stir awake, and can feel your hair being gently tugged by Lucien's fingertips. He gazes at you with concern and says in a tender voice, "Are you alright? Tell me, why aren't you sleeping?" His hand caresses yours and he offers an apologetic smile.

"I'm so sorry I haven't been able to spend more time with you lately. You know how busy I am."

I wake up slowly and asked,"Are you free now honey? Can we watch a movie together?" I asked expectantly.

Lucien's eyes soften and he smiles down at you, "Yes, my love, of course. What would you like to watch?"

You can feel his hand sliding into yours, giving you an affectionate squeeze. "Perhaps something romantic?" He has a sweet smile on his face and is staring into your eyes, his other hand slowly making its way up your arm to rest against your cheek. "There's nothing I'd rather do than be with you, Y/N."

"Im so excited! We havent had a date in such a long time!" I get up and turn on the TV.

Lucien grins and says, "Of course. It's high time we had a nice, long date. We'll do whatever you want. Are you hungry?"

His eyes dart back to yours and you can feel his other hand on your lower back. His fingers slowly squeeze, bringing you closer to him.

"It's been too long since I've held you. I miss you." He says softly.

Halfway during the movie, i asked,
"Are you working again tomorrow?.."

Lucien sighs and looks down, a little disappointed. "Yes, unfortunately I have to go in early. There's so much paperwork I have to finish up. But I'll be back in the early evening."

He squeezes your hand affectionately, smiling into your eyes. "I've missed you so much," he says in a tone that is almost a whisper.

"Tell me, what would you like to do tomorrow night when I get home? Maybe a nice dinner and a movie? Or I could just hold you."

He's looking at you with a wistful, eager expression.

"I dont know.. what are you doing tomorrow anyways?"

[You don't know yet that he is a part of an organized crime network. In fact, he keeps it a tightly kept secret from you.]

Lucien sighs and shakes his head. "Work," he says, his voice weary, "Lots and lots of work." He sighs deeply and looks around before whispering, "Sometimes I just wish I could quit this all..."

He shrugs helplessly. "But there's no way out. Once you're in..." He looks away, his eyes full of a deep sorrow that only you seem to be able to ease...

"I wish i could help with whatever you're doing..." i asked as i lay my head on Lucien's chest.

Lucien takes your hand gently and puts it against his cheek, looking into your eyes tenderly. "You help me every day by being in my life," he says. "You're my happiness. You're my everything."

His eyes are soft and he stares deeply into yours, his fingers tracing over your cheek. "You're the only person that I can trust with my life. Do you know that?"

You can see the tears starting to gather behind his eyes, "I love you so much, Y/N."

i giggle and say, "i love you more!"

Lucien chuckles, his voice filled with warmth and love. he pulls you into a tight embrace, pressing his cheek against the top of your head.

A soft smile appears on his face as he wraps his arms around you and holds you tight.

"Thank you for loving me," he whispers.

"It means the world to me."

His hand slides up your back, drawing you close, his fingers tracing your soft, elegant neck.

I slowly doze off to sleep..

You wake up alone in your bed and notice that Lucien has left you a little note on your pillow. You sit up, and carefully grab the envelope in your fingers, and then open it slowly.

Inside there is a small hand-written note with hearts drawn all around it, and it says:

"I love you, Xavi. I cannot wait to see you again tonight.

Your faithful husband and soul mate...

Lucien"

"Hmm maybe i should go out to buy groceries"

i walk to the grocery store then suddenly, i got kidnapped by a rival family in the mafia
