Platform 9 3/4. This was the first time she had been to Hogwarts by the Hogwarts express. She had been to kings cross station plenty of times and never would she had thought that a train hidden by magic would take young wizards and witches to a magic school. It doesn't even sound like something Charles Dickens would come up with. But here she was, holding her trunks in her hand.
Merlin, she wished professor Fig was here instead. She'd take the dragon with if it meant she had professor fig with her again.
She took a deep breath as she turned to her muggle mother. "Farewell mother." She smiled at her sweet and beautiful mother. "I shall come visit for winter break and write to you every chance I get."
She gave her muggle mother tight hug before she made her way to the platform, holding tightly the ticket and instructions from Professor Weasley.
She didn't know if she wanted to go back to Hogwarts. Sure she had great friends but the trauma of the battle with Ranrok shook her to her core. She had lost Professor Fig and no matter how she tried to hold her composure during the end of the year, she was broken.
Not only did she lose her father figure but she happened to lose one of her dearest friends, Sebastian sallow. She had save Anne from the curse and all she got from her twin, her friend, was silence.
She finally made it through when she saw the magnificent train in front of her. She had wipe her tear, that she didn't feel until it was too late and straighten her back. Her heals click as she walks over the the train doors, pulling up her long skirt, finally stepping foot on the infamous train.
She walked down until she spotted a familiar face in one of the carriages. "Why hello there, miss Poppy Sweeting." She smiled at the hufflepuff.
"Oh Estelle!" She got up excitedly, bringing her into a hug. "How was your trip to Paris?"
"absolument magnifique!" Estella giggled at her friend. Poppy's eyes widened with excitement, clapping her hands.
"Ah! That was beautiful, Estelle!" Poppy exclaimed, making both the girls giggle. Estelle mind was finally off the thought of Sebastian.
But unfortunately not for long as they had arrived in the Great Hall. She tried her best to distract herself on the way up, holding onto Poppy's arm before they had to go to their seperate tables.
Taking a deep breath, she patted down her gray skirt and blazer, baring her house's emblem.
She had quickly saw Sebastian's back before looking away, reminding herself that she needs to walk. "One foot at a time, Estelle." She whispered to herself.
She looked around as she walked and spotted some familiar faces around the hall.
"Merlin's beard! Look at Estelle!" She heard whispers. Conscious of it, she shyly tucked and lose strand behind her ear, head remaining tall.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Her head was telling her.
She could feel his eyes burning through her. All over her. As soon as she walked passed him, a whiff of his slightly scented cologne hit her, giving her a sense of calm before rage filled her. That gave her some confidence.
She stood taller than before, chin up. She wasn't going to let him win over this. Although she did feel guilty for not saying hello to Ominis or Anne.
"Imelda!" She sat, giving her new friend two slight kisses on each of her cheeks. Catching up with Imelda was refreshing. Just what she needed even though she feels the urge to look over at Sebastian. She just knows he's looking. But she wasn't going to give in. Not after ignoring her all summer.
No this Estelle doesn't give in anymore. This Estelle isn't going to let a stupid boy ruined her experience of two years left at Hogwarts.
If you can call him a boy anymore.
