Alison took a deep breath in, this was going to be hard.

"Look Fanny, I understand why you are apprehensive - especially after the whole... affair... with your husband. But just because one gay man pushed you out of the window does not mean that the entire community is full of bad people," she informed the dead lady,

"Well, that's all well and good Alison but where is your proof?" argued fanny, she was stubborn,

"Well, did Sam and Claire do anything wrong?" Alison asked,

"No, but that's just one couple," Fanny responded matter-of-factly,

"Oh, and George is more than two people. can you hear yourself?"

Alison sighed and walked out, leaving fanny to reflect.

She saw Thomas carrying Humphrey's head around the garden, she thought she should go and check on them.

"So you love a man now?" remarked Humphrey,
"Oh hello Alison, I did not realize you and Michael had returned from your little Holiday," Thomas exclaimed,
"So how are you two taking the news?"
"What news?"
"Apparently, somebody - well, some ghost, - came out as bisexual while I was away." The two ghosts looked at each other,
"It was... me... Alison." Thomas said under his breath
"Oh." exclaimed Alison - She was expecting it to have been the captain, despite him shaking his head earlier, "Con-grat-u-lations?" half-asked Alison, not really sure what to say without offending him. "I'll leave you two to it," said Alison, walking back away.
"Anyway? Who is it?" Asked Humphrey as Alison made her way back to the house.

"I'm... uh... not sure I should say." Muttered Thomas, ensuring Alison was out of earshot,
"You know I won't tell anyone." Added Humphrey, "I can tell this is bothering you, It would feel better if you were to get it off of your chest." Thomas sighed, he didn't know what to do. He was quite sure the man who took his fancy was straight as a pole. He wasn't stable enough to take a rejection today.
"It doesn't matter." Mumbled Thomas, "it really isn't that hard on my mind, I shall be fine."
"Are you sure?"
"I am sure Humphrey."

Humphrey secretly knew that it wasn't fine, but he felt like Thomas needed some space.
"Can you put me down in the living room please, it's rather lonely in the blue room."
Thomas obliged.
"Hello guys." Welcomed Pat warmly, Thomas ran off on his own again.
"Is he quite alright?" Asked the Captain, the other ghosts were beginning to become concerned about Thomas, and knew that the only person he was talking to was Humphrey; so naturally, he was the person to ask.
"Come on now guys, I'm sure Thomas won't appreciate us all interrogating poor Humphrey." Explained Pat, a hint of disbelief in his voice. The ghosts all regained self awareness and backed off. Humphrey breathed a sigh of relief- it's not like he can run away, is it? He would have to dodge revealing any confidential information.

Humphrey half wished that Thomas liked him. Being alone most of the time, he has had a lot of time to explore himself, he had come to the realisation not long ago that he is pansexual. Nobody else knew that, of course, Humphrey had been quite happy just keeping it to himself; it wasn't like anyone needed to know, was it? He just wanted Thomas to act like himself again.
