They just finished eating dinner and they went to sit back on the couch. This time Will sat in between Mike and Jonathan and Nancy on the other side of Jonathan.

"You know we actually bought plane tickets to Hawkins to visit you." Jonathan said with a smile on his face.

"Well if I didn't come with Mike you would have bought a plane ticket to visit our lovely dad." Will said jokingly. Jonathan chuckled while Nancy and Mike glanced at each other to look if they both knew about their dad. The second they made eye contact they both knew that they both have heard.

"I would love to see mom though." Jonathan said quietly.

"She's barely home. I bet she won't be home if you're going to visit." Will said the smile disappearing from his face.

"Then I would go to her work." Jonathan said.

"I guess you could do that." Will shrugged.

"Does mom know your off to college?" Jonathan asked.

"No." Will said quietly as he looked down to the floor. Mike put his hand on Will's hand for comfort.

"She's probably worried sick. How did you go to college?" Jonathan asked.

"I drove your old car all the way. It was a whole day of driving." Will said with a slight smile on his face.

"Really?" Jonathan asked.

"Yeah.. I was exhausted." Will breathed.

"You didn't look exhausted. You immediately started unpacking instead of taking a nap." Mike interrupted.

"Oh yeah right. I was actually really excited that I left.. home." Will said 'home' quietly. Jonathan put his hands on Will's back.

"Me and Nancy talked before dinner about something." Jonathan spoke. Will looked up at Jonathan as he hummed in response.

"What if you will go with me, to Hawkins, to visit mom. You get Nancy's ticket to Hawkins and back to NYU. I assume you guys came with the car to the airport. Nancy can drive to NYU and you can drive back to Yale with your car. It's only a two hour drive." Will didn't answer, he just looked up at Jonathan. He didn't know what to answer. Mike took notice of the silence as an idea popped into his mind.

"I can drive with Nance to NYU and we can drive back together?" Mike asked as he put his hand on Will's knee. Will nodded.

"That sounds better. I'm nervous though." Will said. Jonathan nodded in agreement.

"Me too, I promise you we won't face dad." Jonathan said. Will smiled at him.

"Guys! Let's watch a movie!" Holly came running up to them with a movie in her hand.

"What movie?" Will asked her. She held up the movie. Home Alone.

"It isn't even Christmas yet. We would all go to the mall tomorrow to buy gifts for Christmas. And that's in two days!" Mike exclaimed.

"Mike it ins't a big deal c'mon." Will said quietly. Mike looked at Will and immediately gave in.

"Alright put it on I don't care." Jonathan and Nancy looked at each other in surprise. Nancy had told Jonathan that Mike never changed his opinion about something. Or changed his planning. Nancy shrugged and so did Jonathan. Holly put on the movie and went to sit in her dad's chair. Mike looked at Nancy and Nancy at Mike. They were never allowed to even touch their dad's chair and Holly just sat on it like it was normal.

Will was tired. The plane ride really made him tired for a reason. Mike moved his arm up and let it rest on top of the couch. Not around Will. The movie was playing. Will only smiled when something funny happened. He didn't have the energy to laugh. It got darker making his eyelids feel heavier by the minute. Will gave in and closed his eyes.
