The man awoke in a cubicle of a clear white room. There were no windows, just a mirror and a door with multiple locks from the outside. His feet and hands were tied to a chair and his mouth was covered. He heard familiar shuffling, groaning and crying. There were others there, who were they?
Click, click, click, creeeek! The door opened as a tall and well built man walked in, making sure to lock the door behind him.
"Gentlemen, please don't speak. I will not listen. Please don't look at each other, you really don't want to." He spoke in a deep thundering voice. His dark complexion and light tan suit looked fitting for a masquerade a white rose was in his pocket and in the other was something abnormally shaped. He stepped in front of the man, and looked him in the eyes.
"There's only one way out of this room. Don't speak, only nod. Will you play a game? There's only one chance of you losing, and 5 chances of walking out those doors. As long as, of course… the police don't get involved." He looked calm but intimidating, his arms were crossed against his chest and his lips were pursed, "Understand?"
The man simply nodded, he was starting to shake as the tall man approached. He reached for his pocket.
"Now, I'm going to do something, and it might scare you but listen. It's only a sound, then you can go home." He pulled a gun out of his pocket and aimed it at the sitting man's head. The man started flailing around and struggling.
"Listen! Calm down," his finger tightened around the trigger and everything went still.
Click!
"You're free to go." He said as he stamped his hand then untied him. The man jumped up and swung his arm at the tall man, he caught his arm and twisted as the man screamed out in pain.
"Doing something like that isn't in your best interest, there's a reason I work here." He seemed unfazed and let him go, he blindfolded him and took him to the entrance where he let him go then closed the door.
"What the HELL just happened?" The man was frantic, he patted all his pockets. Somewhat shocked he found his phone he immediately called his girlfriend to come pick him up. He couldn't figure out the address so he had to walk half an hour to a nearby gas station. His girlfriend came about an hour later.
" Nancy! Oh my God you're never going to be able to believe what I'm about to say!" He ran to his girlfriend and hugged her tightly. Nancy let out a sigh.
"Joel, where have you been? You stink of alcohol and I've been trying to call you for days now." She held her forehead, disappointment written all over her face.
" Nancy, I swear! I haven't been drinking! I was kidnapped! They just pointed a gun at me no more than 3 hours ago!" Joel shouted, he was sweating profusely. Nancy only sighed again, this time it was heavy and full of attitude.
"Listen, I paid for you to go to rehab, I promised your mom I'd look after you, I paid your bills, I bought your meds and I even got you groceries on multiple occasions. So WHY tell me why, Joel, do you think you can play me as a fool? You promised to stop drinking."

"Listen, I can't do this anymore. I'll drive you to your mom's place, but after that I don't think I can continue this relationship. I'm supposed to be your girlfriend, not your nanny." Nancy finished then let Joel get in the car. They drove to Joel's mom's house and Nancy stayed and talked to her as Joel went up to bed and went to sleep. To be continued
