The streets of Bangkok were drowning in the warm sunset light. The air cooled down a little so we didn't hurry and enjoyed walking along the streets that started to flood with people. We reached the park and sat down on a bench. The conversation flowed in so many directions, we talked and talked, leaning that we actually had a lot in common, not noticing the people slowly abandoning the park. The lanterns got lit up.
- Yeah, I really miss them a lot, you know. I'd love to have the opportunity to live there and go to work in Bangkok so I don't have to be away from ma and pa for so long. - I was babbling about my family when I saw him shiver from the cold and trying to warm himself with his hands. - Are you cold? - I suddenly realized that so much time passed since we left the cafe. We were alone in the park. I took my leather jacket and put it on his shoulders. - Here take this.
- No, I'm good, - he said, his voice trembling a little.
- Sure, - I chuckled, closing the jacket on him.
- What about you?
- It's okay, I'll warm up in the car. Why didn't you take anything warm with you? - I looked at his cream-colored sleeveless T-shirt and light jeans feeling pity as he must be really freezing in the unusually cool breeze.
- It didn't go with my outfit, - he smiled widely, snuggling into my jacket. He looked so cozy in it, I wanted to leave it to him. He shook his head and giggled, snuggling into the jacket a little. - I feel like a princess.
You are, I thought.
