As you stepped out of the pastel blue portal, you were greeted by a hoard of demons. It kind of reminded you of New York city! (Not like you've ever been there personally though. Shame) The sinners all had their own unique features, some simular to eachother but still different. And they all had atleast something black on. You scoffed.

You: 'Emos..'

Mentally slapping yourself after that thought because you're in hell and obviously there isnt gonna be anyone in all white. Except you-

Whilst you were arguing with yourself, you were too deep in thought to realize something was heading towards you. Well, more like someone. And bashing into you making you stumble over but not falling unlike them.

???: Ugh! Oh satan I am so sorry! I-I wasn't looking where I was going!

Being the NiCe person you are, you held out your hand to them to help them up. Luckily they accepted so you weren't just stood there looking like a fool.

You: It's quite alright. But are you okay?

???: Huh? OH! Yes yes I'm fine-

The stranger was interrupted by the sight of your angelic, white wings and halo. Noticing their surprised and twisted reaction, you decided it was best to leave so you started to turn away before they shouted out to you. EVEN THOUGH. You were still right next to them.

???: W-Wait! Are you.. what I think you are?

Their eyes sparkled. Since you didn't know if the "sparkling eyes" was a good thing, you answered with a simple yet affective thing.

You: depends what you think I am?

???: An.. an angel?

You might regret telling them later but it dosen't matter cuz that's future you's probelm.

You: Yes. I am an angel and I was sent down here.

The stranger just seemed to become more happy then they were before.

???: Oh my satan oh my satan! You are just what the hotel needs!

You: ... What-? 👁👄👁

???: Sorry! Sorry! I should introduce myself before anything else shouldn't I?!

Yep.. you're regretting it already.

???: I'm Charlie and I work at the Happy Hotel just a few miles from here it's a pleasure to meet you!

You: Charlie? That name sounds familiar? You look familiar.. What's your last name?

Charlie: Morningstar. I can see why you recognise me because my father is Lucifer Morningstar but then again I also don't because you're an angel?

You: Well you see, up in heaven we get to learn about everything! And when I say everything I mean everything. Even hell.

Charlie: Well that explains it! Oh! Speaking of hotel how would you feel about a place to stay?

Now thinking about it. You didn't actually have a place to stay for the next few days. And because it's hell, you were new to it's layout and knew were nothing was. It would take a certain sinner to help you out with it all.

You: I would love a place to stay thank you. Do you desire payment for a room?

Before you could take out your wallet she rudely interrupted your actions.

Charlie: No no no! Rooms are free for people to stay at the moment until we get the hotel fully finished! Plus you're an angel! It would give me a bad name if I asked for money from you.

Shrugging, you simply placed your wallet back where it was before.

You: Shall we head to your hotel Ms.Morningstar? It shouldn't be a hassle since you said it was only a few miles from here. Correct?

Her eyes sparkled once again but this time with a huge smile along with it.

Charlie: Yes ofcoure! But please call me Charlie!

You thought about calling her Charlie for a moment but decided NAHHH you won't. Snapping you out of thought, she grabbed you hand and started to lead you to her said hotel.

Charlie: I hope this is ok with you and if not just say so!

It wasn't ok but you didn't say anything. Kinda wish you did.

There was a lot of breaking the 4th wall in his AND interrupting but that's fineeeee cuz I'm proud of it. Yes I know this story is a Verosika x reader BUT we need to build it up from here cuz we need a bloody place to stay and Verosika is a Helluva boss character so we then need to get a job at I.M.P... It gonna take a while ;_;
