Hi! My name is Clara, a visual artist and a radio personality from the Philippines. I started loving BTS since Butter era and it's all because of radio. When I finally had the time to watch the music video, one member stood out—the guy with the long purple hair. Yes, I'm talking about Jungkook (he is my bias up until this day hahah!)
My only wildest dream back then is to become a radio DJ, but who would've thought that my love for radio would also come with my love and appreciation for KPOP especially BTS - now I have more and more reasons to get excited to do my radio show every single day.
The Tannies have been so significant all throughout my radio career. I still vividly remember "Mic Drop" being the first ever KPOP when I've just started, then "Make It Right" marks as the first kpop song when I moved to another radio station, and "Eight" by IU and Suga being the first when we've enhanced our brand, and the rest is history.
Ever since I became an ARMY, they have been slipping into my dreams. Their music, their performances, and their personalities have become a constant presence in my subconscious, and I've come to treasure these encounters with them as something too precious to forget. So, I decided to gather my dreams and put them into words, to share my personal journey of dreaming with BTS with other fans who understand what it's like to feel a deep connection with these seven stars. 'Beyond the Slumber: BTS and Me' is a collection of these dreams, a testament to the power of fandom and the ways in which our passions can shape our lives, even in the realm of dreams.
