Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

Professor Berming, my teacher, went to the front of the room. There were about 30-40 people in the room. The assignment that we had to download, was a quite interesting one, in fact. I knew everything that was needed for the project. "All get in groups of 3," professor said. Josie, Addy and I got in a group. Our subject for the project was to show the difference between the Pythagorean theorem, and pi. Of course, there is a major difference, that is why we chose it. Professor dismissed us so that we could work on our projects and get the supplies needed. "Hey guys, lets meet up with Harrison so he can give us some poster design ideas," I had mentioned that, because Harrison is gay. No offense to gays. Harrison has great style and I thought it would be fun. He is like a brother to me. We can always count on each other for anything. Anyways, back to the project. " I think that's a great idea, he has amazing design qualities," Addy had said. I didn't pay attention to what she said, I was so deep in thought about that Corbin guy I saw earlier this morning. "Wait, what was that? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

"Its alright." Addy said very sheepishly. "I think I'm going to go to the craft store, text me if you have any ideas of stuff we need," Josie said. "Okay," Addy and I said it in unison.

------------- 1 hour later ---------------

*knock-knock-knock*

Who could that be? I thought to myself. I open the door to my dorm room, and Harrison is standing there. "Hey! Come on in." I gestured politely. "Oh girrrrll, I got the best ideas for your project! I brought some ideas so I could show you, they are so bright and colorful," Harrison said so cheerfully and happily. "Well, my lunch break is almost over, we have to be quick. My next class is in 45 minutes." I said it quickly so that we can get started quick.

----------- 20 minutes later----------

We finally decided on a design. I left my dorm room especially early for class, so that I can see if I can spot Corbin some where lurking around.

Too bad I didn't see him while walking to class, but as soon as I walked in the door; I saw him!! He was in my class! I walked in normally so that he didn't suspect anything. I took a seat 5 seats away from him. Just so that he didn't think I was creepy, especially because he caught me staring at him earlier this morning while he was playing football.

----------45 min later-----------

After class, I was walking out the door with my books. Corbin walked up to me and offered to carry my books to my dorm. OMG he's talking to me!! "Would you like me to carry your books for you?" He asked. "Sure, if you don't mind," I said calmly, but on the inside I was freaking out! As we were walking, we were talking about our classes. Turns out that we have 5 classes together!

When we arrived at the door to my dorm, he leaned against the wall, and asked me if I would like to go have dinner with him sometime. "Sure, why not," I said, grinning so big. He handed me my books and I went inside, and waved him goodbye. I fell back flat on my back on my bed, I couldn't believe what just happened to me. I was so excited, that I called my girls Addy and Josie and told them all about what happened.

"Girl, we need to go shopping, so that you have something nice to wear," Josie said so excitedly. "i know right? What should we plan to buy?" I asked. "Well, maybe a nice fall dress, and some flats with pretty up do bun." Said Addy. I think that sounds really pretty, i thought to myself. "What kind of make up should i wear. I think just light eyeshadow with some lip gloss, perhaps?" I said questionably. "Sounds good to me!" Addy and Josie said in unison. Sometimes i think they read each others minds, when they say stuff together. It's so weird, but cool at the same time.

-------Night time-------

I go to the bathroom that is located down the hall. I gather my shower supplies and my night clothes, and under garments. After my shower, i get dressed real quick so that i can get a good nights sleep,and hopefully dream about Corbin. I open my room to my dorm and hop under my covers to my bed. I suddenly got really tired after taking a shower. I turn out the lights and fall asleep almost instantly.
