I went outside my room to look for the plastic bag containing the bloody clothes that I had. Relieved when I found it where I had last left it, I grabbed it and walked out through the back door to my small backyard. I gather all the stuff that I would need to burn the clothes and prepared the fire. The only problem is that my neighbors might see and call the police, 'ill just tell them I was having a barbecue', I sighed.

I threw the bloody clothes without the plastic at the fire so it wouldn't make this weird smell. I stared at it as it burn to ashes, it was fascinating, really. I waited a few minutes before distinguishing the fire from some soil I dug up before heading inside. I sat on the couch, trying to relax as my mind trailed off to this morning,

"ill give you time to process an answer, be prepared because I will come back."

Do I want to? Honestly, Im not quite sure yet. But joining a so-called 'family' of people who probably do illegal shit is kinda interesting to happen in this boring life of mine. Especially if their boss is some kind of pale octopus in a form of a tall man wearing a suit with a weird-ass ability or something. But do I really want to serve a supernatural master until I await my inevitable death? To be honest, that seems more exciting for a 19-year-old adult like me than to wake up every 5 am in the morning to go to college. But I will miss everything I will need to leave behind to welcome this new life that awaits me. Not like I have friends or anyone close to me. Some of my distant family probably forgot about me or just didn't care anymore.

Repeating the question 'Do I wanna join this weird cryptid's gang?', and my answer is yes. Yes, I do.

I stood up, making my way to the bathroom. I stopped in front of my mirror and sank. I turned on the faucet, and water fell down through it. I cupped my hands to fill some water in it then splashed it on my face. I ran my hand through my [H/C] hair, tugging out wet strands to the side. I looked in the mirror and there I saw a person different from the one I knew only a few days ago. Instead of [E/C] colored orbs, it was replaced by a bloodshot one. Hair was messy as ever and clothes wrinkled almost like a rag. I sighed as I splashed water on my face again.

After drying up and replacing my clothes with dry ones, I once again went to the living room. I also noticed that I keep staying in the living room more often than being in my own room. I sat on the floor this time, facing the T.V. as I leaned on one of the cushions of the sofa. I sat there, staring blankly at the floor, waiting for the cryptid named "slenderman" to make contact with me once again, slightly chuckling at the choice of name. Slowly but surely, I began drifting to sleep and sure enough, I was out like a light.

"What would be the reason you contacted me this soon?" A familiar voice spoke. I opened my eyes and sure enough, I was at the 'space he created'. "W...what? Contacted you? But I never even..." Confused, I just stared blankly at the tall man that stood before me. "Nevermind. Anyways, since you're already here, after 'a lot' of thinking and considera--", "just please get to the point." He said rather annoyed. I cleared my throat, "Right... as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. I wanna join this gang of yours.", he sighed in annoyance, "This isn't a gang, it's a family. A family full of murderers with incredible inhumane skills or supernatural creatures with abilities that the world has yet to see." He said in a matter-of-fact tone. Yea ok. Stop tryna sugarcoat it.

"Anyways, you agreed to join us, correct? To serve your master as long as you live, to fight alongside your acquaintances, to follow my orders, and to give me your undying loyalty, are you ready to do such tasks that no average human can even think of doing?" He asks, sounding more like an "If you refuse, you die, you dont really have a choice here" than a "whatever choice you choose, ill respect" like a parent to their child, but I doubt that he'll just let me go. And besides I dont wanna die just yet. "Yes. I agree to your terms and am ready to join your family." I said, slightly cringing at myself. "Very well."
Is the last thing I heard before everything faded to black.

I woke up on the floor where I had slept. I looked towards the window to find that it was already pitch black outside. 'Why do I keep waking up at night?' I sighed as I got up. 'Im bored...' I thought to myself. What date is today again? I dont seem to remember... I keep forgetting common shits lately and it's quite annoying.

Days had passed, and its already Wednesday. I forgot how many days had already gone by but i haven't seen nor felt his presence lately, and it's making me paranoid as shit. But I still keep getting these weird dreams. That's one thing that hasn't changed yet. Like last time, I dreamt of being in a forest, alone. It was at night from what I remember, and I was just walking and walking. I saw a big dark oak tree that stood amongst the rest and saw a big circle with an "X" carved inside it, and after seeing that I woke up sweating. And other days I also dreamed about being in a somewhat crowded place, which is pretty unusual since I often dream of being alone in this location, and I was just, there. Like im a ghost. People were walking past me and not bothering to look at me as if I weren't there, and something that I realized is that the city is familiar to me like I'd seen it before but I can't really remember.

Im now sitting in my last period of class, which is History, my least likable subject. I sigh, leaning my head on my desk. Tired. That's what im feeling these past few days. I haven't had enough sleep last night and it's already taking its effect. I raised my head up to look at the window beside me. I can see the busy streets filled with cars, the park where a handful of children were playing, and the forest on the side of it. I stared at the forest, it looked... eerie. Every sound began sounding distorted as ringing started coming in my ears, it didn't bother me as much as before but it's still quite annoying.

After school, I went straight ahead home. I arrived at my front porch and sensed that something was wrong... clearly wrong. I turned the doorknob and it was open. I suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu. But this time, I could sense someone was here... I slowly walked through the door, having my guard up. The atmosphere around is creepily eerie. The smell of oddly familiar cigarettes lingered in the air.

Then suddenly, the sound of a gun going off ran through the air. A bullet barely missed my face, scraping my cheek. I stood there, my body full of shock. I touched my cheek and saw blood. My blood.

"Oops... I missed." A voice spoke from the dark hallway at the end of my living room. A man appeared from the shadows, he was covering his face with a white mask with black eye holes with a feminine lip, and an oddly familiar tan jacket. "Nice to see you again, "[N/N]".
