Captain Price sat in his office, smoking one of his cigars and trying to calm his nerves. The past few days were extremely stressful for him and he hadn't had the time to think everything through. He had the feeling that until they hadn't either caught or killed General Shepherd and/or Makarov, they wouldn't have quiet days.

Soap had planted himself next to Price on his sofa and was almost sleeping. They both had talked about Andreas' transfer to the 141 and had also consulted Laswell, who had nothing against it. Both were now more than exhausted and glad for at least a few minutes of peace.

He just stood up, to pour himself a little bit of whiskey, when his phone rang. Soap was fully awake again and Price answered the phone
"Hello?"
"Price, it's Gaz. We have some pretty interesting news."
"Tell me."
"When we got into the truck they gave us, the major talked with a lieutenant, thinking we were out of hearing distance."
"What did he say?"
"Don't tell them about our connections to Makarov."

The captain took a deep breath and repeated what Gaz said to him to Soap, who was still sitting on his sofa.

"That just confirms Andreas' theory that Makarov is responsible for the death of the unit. Keep an eye out and don't get too involved. We need everybody available. Shepherd is still a threat."
"Andreas just wants to find out what Este found out and then leave Italy."
"Good. We'll see you then. Keep me updated."
"Will do. Over and Out Captain."
"Over and Out."

Price sat down next to Soap on his sofa, needing to progress the information he was given. He hoped that both soldiers would take care of each other and stay as safe as they could.

But he needed to focus on his hunt for Shepherd, for which he felt, they needed every man and woman available. Shepherd was smart and probably had many spots where he could hide.

Soap pulled him out of his thoughts
"Captain, what is the plan?"
"We need to focus on Shepherd. But I think we need to lay low for a while before we can hunt them. We are four people short, who we will definitely need."

Soap agreed and took a last drag of his own cigar, before he put it out and stood up.
"I'm going to check on Ghost and Roach."

After Soap left the room, Price closed the door and locked it. He needed to come up with a plan and to be alone in his office for a while.
