RJ sighed as he waited near the cold WestView Police Department, waiting for the inevitable. He saw the white minivan from far down the street and took a deep breath. Here it goes again.

RJ was back at WestView with his parents, the only reason being that he had no where else to live, saying he was broke and had no one to turn to, no one to help him with the Agency or life in general. A second didn't go by in that building that Azure's lifeless eyes didn't reflect back at him. So he ended it. He destroyed the agency, step by step, check by check. The only thing that remained was the tear stained hand-written letter and Azure's green tie.

As he climbed in the back seat, closed the door, he didn't dare to look into the disappointed glares in his parents' eyes. "Richard James," his mother began in a vexed tone. "You are such a..." she shook her head, as if she couldn't think of a name that was terrible enough to call him. "You are such a *failure*." He felt his spirits drop like a failed dream. As he put in his earbuds, he wished that full volume was enough to block out their rising voices and poisoned words.

Once they arrived back at the retched place he had to call home, he hopped out of the car, his parents right on his heels. "You ruined EVERYTHING!!" His mother slammed the door.
"You abandoned your family, your ONLY family, for some dumb teenagers? Do you know how immature that is? Huh? Are you listening?" His dad got in front of him, his voice booming. "Huh?!" He got in his face.

"Family?" He pushed him back, him stumbling back a little further than he thought he would. "That's what you call this? A FAMILY?!" He started to stomp upstairs, "you two really got some messed up ideas in your head if this has EVER been a family."

"Then you are definitely not our son." His mother stated coldly. RJ stopped momentarily, the words cutting him like a twisted knife. "I never have been." He glowered at them with tears barricading his eyes, continuing up and locking the door behind him.

Naomi let out a content breath as she opened her eyes, the morning light flooding through the window. She smiled as she felt a peace come over her. Prayers did come true, is what she'd found out, at least sometimes. Naomi looked beside her, seeing her husband had already gotten up.

Her husband. She'd gotten married! It still put a smile on her face when she remembered reciting her vows to the love of her life, when she looked behind her and saw him on one knee next to the beautiful flower fields. She'd been glad it happened when it did, when it was getting comfortable again.

Before that, it had been rocky. They both had trouble processing what had happened in such a short time. But, what was important, as Rowan always reassured her, was they got past it. She made her way to their kitchen, finding Rowan making breakfast. She hugged him, resting her chin on his shoulder. "What's on the menu, chef?" She asked with a grin.

"Odd seeing you up at a reasonable time." He teased, giving her a kiss on the lips. "I better make sure it's you, you know, since you seem to be a little bit off today."

She put her arms around his neck as they shared a kiss made for movie screens.

River held her baby boy, Ryan, in her arm, resting him on her hip, phone in the other hand with Quill. "Yes, honey, I know it was- Phoebe, sweetie," she rushed over, putting her phone between her shoulder and her ear to get the remote out of her daughter's mouth. "No, baby. Please don't chew on the remote. Peter. Yes, I am very sure we need this break."

She went and sat Ryan in his crib and went and set Phoebe in it also, needing to get to some paper work.

Although being up in space with her favorite people had its benefits, unfortunately there was still many things to be done. Rescuing, cleaning, fixing, burping, baby sitting, the list went on. But tonight- today? Tonight? What time was it? Anyway, Drax and Mantis had offered to lend a helping hand.

Once Peter came back in, sharing a laugh with Mantis and Drax as they came to pick the kids up. "Thank you, so much." River said, feeling sad to leave her babies, but she needed this break. They'd be ok. What threat could get to them here?

"River," Peter Quill smiled, taking her in his arms. "It's ok, it's only for an hour or two." He reassured her. She nodded and smiled, feeling a weight be taken off her shoulders. "We have all the time in the world." She confirmed with a low voice. "Allll alone." She laughed, half joking.

Peter chuckled, but then, they decided that maybe, they weren't joking after all.
