Unknown POV:

As I wandered through the woods, I caught a whiff of something that made my senses come alive. It was the scent of a girl, sweet and alluring, and it called to me like a siren song.

I followed the scent, my curiosity piqued, and soon enough I caught sight of her. She was walking through the woods, unaware of my presence, and I felt a sudden urge to get closer to her.

As I approached, I couldn't help but notice the way her scent grew stronger with every step I took. It was intoxicating, and I felt myself becoming more and more obsessed with her by the second.

I watched her from afar, hidden in the shadows, as she moved through the forest with mesmerizing grace. There was something about her that was captivating, something that stirred my hunger and my desire in equal measure.

I knew that I shouldn't get too close, that it was dangerous for both her and me, but I couldn't resist the temptation. The smell of her blood was like a drug to me, and I craved her touch more than anything else.

For hours, I followed her through the woods, never too far behind, always lurking in the shadows. I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to taste her blood, to feel her skin against mine.

But as much as I wanted her, I knew that I had to be careful. I couldn't let my thirst for her get the best of me, or else the consequences could be dire. So I continued to watch from afar, admiring her beauty and her scent from a safe distance, content with just being near her for the time being.

Suddenly I hear my brother run and pounce after a deer, about 20 miles up north. And as I turn back around I am met with no one. The sweet, innocent girl is nowhere to be seen and her scent is quickly disappearing in the rain. I try to listen closely for her but it's like she has disappeared altogether.

I run back to my family to tell them of my discovery. It was like meeting Emmett all over again, but this time she was fresh and alive, and human...

Arabella's POV:

I felt a pair of eyes follow me as I wandered through the thick, dense forest. I wondered if it was the wolf returning to help save me but as I turned around I met with no one. I tried to retrace my steps and find my way back home but I was unsuccessful.

I was becoming increasingly frustrated with my lack of common sense. Like, what was I thinking going into the woods at night? Then, a road came into view and I thought I had been blessed by the gods above! I followed the road until a car began approaching.

Thinking nothing of it, I didn't look back and attempted to shield my eyes from the pouring rain that tried to force its way into my eyeballs. Suddenly I heard a beep of a car, I turned to find a tan-skinned boy in shorts and a tank top exiting his car and making his way towards me.

"Excuse me! Miss!" he shouted as he was a good bit behind me. I didn't want to get kidnapped today so I turned back around and continued my way to wherever this road led to.

"Miss! HEY!" he shouted. God, he was annoying. Curious about what he had to say, I reluctantly turned back around and found him running towards me, panting and sweating even though it was freezing out here.

"Hello?" I asked, almost like a question.

"Excuse me, do you want me to drive you to wherever you are going? You seem to be going the opposite way from Forks," he questioned with a deep blush adorning his chiseled face. He looked me in the eyes for the first time and I swear, that man could have fainted. God, was I that ugly?!

"Fine, can you drive me to Forks highschool please," I said reluctantly as anyone could see that this man was not going to leave me alone? Eventually, he returned from his 'moment' and now that I look at him, his eyes look familiar.

"Uhh, y-yeah this way to the car!" he said awkwardly before guiding me toward his beat-up pickup truck. As I entered the run-down car I was met with a homely smell that smelled distinctly of who this man was.

"By the way, my name is Jacob Black," he stated after a long period of awkward silence.

"Nice to meet you Jacob, I'm Arabella," I responded.

"Any last name Miss Arabella?" he questioned. I quickly thought of a last name as I didn't want to be recognized by the police.

"Arabella Valencia Haven." I answered as confidently as I could. I decided to take my mother's maiden name, Haven meaning a place of safety, and my middle name Valencia, meaning strength and valor, as it was my grandmother's name.

He looked proud at making me talk before turning on the radio as I watched the trees soon turn into houses and then into shops suddenly it had been 20 minutes, and we were finally at Fork's Highschool.

"Thank you for driving me, Jacob. I'll see you around, I guess," and as I turned he grabbed my arm and asked for my number as 'I clearly don't have any friends here'. I reluctantly agreed but secretly I was happy to have a friend.

Maybe things wouldn't be so bad here...
