"Mike, promise me you won't freak... Okay?"

"I'll try, Cassandra." He answered truthfully.

"Okay, I'm telling you the truth and nothing but the truth. Sydney is my best friend. We've been friends for a short while, yet it seems I've known her for years. But when the aliens came along... She disappeared. No one else did- It was only her"

The one, listening to the entirety of the rouge confession, Mikey was flabbergasted. 'Cassandra has acknowledged something complicated, she had another friendship that she was attached to by the hip. But now, the Krang tore it away and now she's in an complex situation. No wonder she came zooming down for our assistance... Cassandra is being reasonable- We're the one's who caused it! '

"Cassandra, I-I didn't know..." Mikey muttered. "I'm sorry we did this to you and especially Sydney!" Cass raised an eyebrow, she instantly understood what he was implying.

"It's not your fault Angie, if it was- I would of had a hockey stick in your head." Cassandra knew right then she had grasped herself up, her attempt of comforting the orange masked Box turtle was nothing compared to his.

Mikey was unfazed by the comment. "Heh, true. If you were that mad, you've would of just randomly charged through the Krang's front door and had them disintegrated by now."

Cass gagged, it was perfectly true and yet she had managed to somehow comfort him. "I would of..." Cassandra glanced behind her at the upgraded coffee machine, she remembered how Sydney claimed her customisation was unique. She was an serious inventor with the heart of an jester.

"-Andra, Cassandra. You've been staring off for two minutes." Cassandra snapped back to reality, Mikey was still with her. "Sorry, just saw something that-"

"-Reminded you of her?" Mikey finished, he knew perfectly what she meant, Cassandra nodded in response, hugging herself tightly. "What is she like?"

His queer question was quite dumbfounding for Cassandra, she normally was not abrupted by such inquires of information about Sydney. "Oh-" She spluttered, attempting to condense words into speech.

"Sydney, she's the second sweetest sunshine person I know... I love her like a sister. Her messy blonde hair, gaping smile. She is just so understanding of myself and my past, she's easy to talk to and it helps to vent to someone about my doubts, troubles- Just about anything!" Cassandra took a moment to regain herself. "I was- Well, going to even mention to her about you guys."

The Box turtle took a moment to absorb that. "You were?"

Cassandra groaned, slapping herself with her right hand. "I actually already did but I left the mutant part out, I was going to tell her if she got the chance to meet you."

Mikey tilted his head obscurely, humming to himself. "It would be nice to meet her, but right now. We have to prevent Krang doomsday."

...

"What's taking them so long?" Donatello mumbled, fidgeting with his goggles. It had been around fifteen minutes since Michelangelo went after Cassandra, Casey and Raph were searching for clues around the area but Donnie stayed to watch the Tank, he didn't want to go looking for impossible evidence anyways.

'Why are they even bothering by now?... There's no point anymore-'

Donnie was abrupted from his thoughts, Mikey and Cassandra were walking back. Cass seemed calmer than she was before and Mike was still okay, he was engaging in chat with her. "Okay, Cassie. We are back and-"

The Box turtle only saw his Soft shelled brother at the tank. "Oh, hey Donald. Where's Raph and Case?" Mikey politely inquired, Cassandra only then noticed that Raph and her future son were not there.
