bill's pov

we were at school, thinking about what would be the best gift to give our mothers, but it was me, ted and jeff who were thinking about it.

y/n is the only one of the class and band member who doesn't have a mother. when May comes once a year, he was sad. because Mrs. M/N died 7 years ago. Mrs. M/N was the best mother that y/n had in his life.she misses me.

the class was ending and teacher marcelo said

teacher: good class today classes will end early that in 2 days it's mother's day. have a nice weekend to you and happy mother's day.

everyone left the door but the only one who didn't was y/n .he was still sad about it.i wanted to cheer him up but decided not to intrude on it so i walked out the door and hid next to her to listen the conversation.

teacher: y/n. what is it? why don't you go out to celebrate the holidays with your mother?

I see tears falling down his face at this question

y/n:I won't celebrate.

teacher: why?

y/n doesn't answer and starts crying and the teacher takes the chair and puts it down in front of him.he tries to comfort him

teacher: did something happen for you not to celebrate this holiday. let me help you. if something happened, you can talk to me, i want to help you.

y/nfinally replied

y/n (sobbing): My mother died 7 years ago.

the teacher chokes on this answer and asks y/n

what happened to Mrs. M\N

teacher:i'm so sorry y/n.i didn't know you lost your mother.tell me what happened to her.

y/n:when I was 6 years old, I was having breakfast with her and my father, but suddenly we saw her pass out.we were in shock with that, we took her to the hospital. taking the tests and treatments what was the cause, a doctor told her that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. my father and I cried a lot, because we knew she was going to die. a week later, when we arrived at the hospital and entered the room from her, we saw that she was in her last moments.she said her last words for me to promise one thing,that i would be nice to everyone and that i would never give up on music.this is the story

the teacher looked at y/n with tears. I hated seeing my best friend like this. not wanting him to be sad about it, i decided to invite him to spend mother's day at my house. i went home running to tell my parents about my idea of inviting y

to spend the holiday with us .

bill: mom, dad, I want to talk to you now.

Mrs. Smith: Son, I'm making lunch. let's talk over lunch.

a few minutes later, mom made lunch, we sat down and dad spoke.

Mr Smith: So what did you want to talk about?

bill:I want to invite y/n to spend Mother's Day here. I know what you're going to ask. When Mother's Day arrives, Y/n gets sad about it and he cries. .

madam smith:i understand son.y/n is not my son,but he is part of this family.i miss my best friend.so let's invite him.

I smile happily at my mom's response.

Y/n's pov

this holiday is the sad day my dad and i miss.i miss my mom.she misses me for a long time.i start crying into the pillow.until i hear the doorbell.I go downstairs and open the door that reveals the bill.

y:madam smith. what are you doing here? shouldn't you celebrate the holiday?

lady smith smiling: i'm celebrating bro, but i'm asking you to spend the holiday with us.

y/n:seriously?thanks for the invitation.

madam smith:you're welcome,but there's no need to thank me.you're like a son.now go up to your room and get ready because we're going to my house now.

this was the best day of my life. i didn't know for a long time that mister smith considered me like a son. i go up to my room quickly, get dressed and go down the stairs to go out with madam smith. when they arrive at bill's house ,he, his little sister and his father greeted me.

bill: hi bro, happy mother's day man.

y/n(crying and smilling):thanks everyone.i wish one day at least to spend this holiday with you.i miss my mother so much who i haven't celebrated in years,but i'm happy that i'm going to celebrate with you.thank you so much.

i celebrate mothers day with bill's mother and family and i will never forget this day.
