Graduation.
"Darling, come on ! I wanna take a picture!" Marina said.
"Maiko, come on, come on ! You should be on the picture with your sons !"
Marks mom seemed hesitant but gave in and walked over.
She stood in the middle between Vee and Mark and smiled for the picture.
"You too Mae !" Mark said to Vees mother and waved her over.
Marks relationship to his mother was slowly healing, since that one day, months ago.
The woman suddenly stood in front of Marks condo, telling him that she broke up with Marks father.
The young boy was happy, but he knew that this was a hard step for his mother.
Vee and Mark took her in and helped her to stand on her own feet.
Marina tried her best to make her feel like a part of the family as well and both ladies became good friends.
"Vee darling, come here. I want you to wear this."
"Mae ! It's Marks special day.. Come on !" He said shyly.
"No, actually that's a cute idea." Mark said, grabbing the gown.
"It reminds me of your graduation years ago." Said Vee's mom smiling.
"Mae.." The older boy said and hid his face in the crook of Mark's neck.
"Ow, why are you shy ?" He asked his boyfriend giggling.
"It's fine dear. We can take the pictures in the garden !" Maiko said.
"Oh that's a great idea Maiko !" Marina said happy and the three women walked out without saying a word.
"Are you really okay with that?" Vee asked.
"Of course! That's such a cute idea !"
Vee smiled at Mark.
"Oh the pictures will turn out so cute !" Lamai said smiling.
She barely spoke today, so Mark was actually happy to hear her say this.
The woman wasn't quite herself today.
She was happy for Mark, but today was also the day her little brother would never have.
She would never see him graduating.
The whole family was depressed, but they all tried to cover it up, since it was Mark's day as well.
Mark didn't really realize that Vee took the gown and left the room.
"Thank you P'." Mark said to Mai and walked over to hug her.
"Ow dear, what for ?"
"For everything."
Vee got dressed and walked over to his boyfriend.
"How do I look ?" He asked and Mark let go of Lamai.
"Sexy."
"Mark !" Lamai laughed.
