Ankit started to hang out with Priyanka more and more. At first it was at least once a week, but then it turned into three. Priyanka was a very warm being. She made sure to make everyone around her smile.

She always made sure that he was taking care of himself.

Did you eat lunch yet?  11:10 am.

Not yet

Don't eat anything.

Why not?

Delivered. He was left on delivered which got Ankit thinking till he got up to go to his session. He made sure to put a sign on his door, letting people know that he's not home and to leave the mail outside. Petting his dog on the way out, Ankit grabbed his coat and his favourite novel, eager to show it to Priyanka.

With Priyanka around, Ankit started to accept himself and that he wasn't going to hear again. At this point, it was rare for him to hear but he was glad he was able to experience hearing for 28 years of his life.

Walking to his session, he nodded to others that he saw on the way and stopped at a dessert shop. He saw a chocolate cake that looked really good. Unable to stop himself, he walked into the shop and got the chocolate cake.

Meanwhile Priyanka was getting late as she started on cooking late. Her roommate gave her the idea to cook for Ankit as Priyanka was thinking of small ways to make their meetings a little more special. She started packing the food and made a motion of praying in hope that Ankit likes her food.

She steps outside and as soon as she does it rains, she shakes her head as Ankit had told her that there was a probability that it was going to rain the next day. Running back inside, she takes her yellow umbrella and walks outside, a small skip in her step.

Ankit was worried as it started to rain. He couldn't wait outside so he went inside the room and had a seat. Every once in a while he would glance towards the door and his frown deepened. She normally didn't take this long. Perhaps she's in some sort of trouble? He shakes away those thoughts and tries to focus at the lady in front.

Priyanka walks in, shivering slightly but bears a smile on her face as she nods at their instructor, ducking her head as she makes her way to her seat. Ankit frowns at her and signs.

You're late?

Priyanka smiles and shrugs. It happened.

Ankit took notice of her shivering and took off his jacket, wrapping it around her body. He tightened the jacket around her, taking her hands in his rubbing them with his. Once Priyanka's teeth chattering stops, Ankit lets go of her hands and once again faces the front.

Priyanka blushes as she feels the loss of warmth from Ankit's large hands engulfing hers. She makes a mental note that he's one of the people in her life whose touch makes her feel comfortable.

Once the class ends, Ankit shoots out of his seat reaches towards a backpack that he brings with him. He prays that the cake is safe. In between his thoughts, he feels a tug on his shirt's sleeve. Looking down, he sees Priyanka holding a tiffin box with one hand. He widens his eyes and points to himself.

For me?

No girl had ever made Ankit food. Yes, they would bring snacks or eat outside but he was the one who would make food for them if they ever came over. He was surprised to see a tiffin in Priyanka's hands.

Priyanka smiles and urges at him to sit down. Ankit sits back down in his seat forgetting about the cake momentarily. She opens the tiffin box and there's this aroma that makes Ankit's mouth salivate. He licks his lips in excitement and looks at Priyanka with wide eyes.
