Yua and Akira

(Yeah, I said this would be short lol)

Once, there was a woman named Yua who lived in Japan, she was lovely and many men attempted to court her, but she rejected them all because her eye was on her one true love. Her love's name was Akari, she was smitten with Akari and talked to her every day. Yua and Akari would go on long walks in the forest and hold hands, Akari confessed that she had feelings for Yua. Yua and Akari became lovers, but things didn't stay positive forever. Because they frequently snuck away into the forest, the other people in their village decided that they must've been evil spirits who went to the forest to do evil deeds, the men claiming to have been bewitched by Yua. So the lovers were chased down by an angry mod of villagers who sought to put them to death. The two swore their love to each other, promising to not leave the other's side no matter what, til death do they part. Their souls intertwined in a connection of love, the two fled so quickly and were so focused on one another that they didn't realize that they'd run straight into the sky, joining the stars. The two became stars themselves, together to love and cherish one another for eternity. Some may still find them in the sky, glowing brightly in the presence of the one they love the most and shining as a reminder that forbidden love doesn't always end in tragedy.
