Chapter 1. The Opening

This is it, this is where my life really began. I was a 24 year old guy. my life seemed like it had come to a stop sign, going nowhere. I had just finished university and all of my so called, "talents" were going to waste. All I did was sleep, eat, and hang out with my friends every so often.My parents supported me, even though I was out on my own they still treated me like a child. I never had to pay my bills because my parents paid them for me. I never had to worry about food in my fridge because it was always made full. I was living the easy life. That was until the day my parents got into a car accident that would change mine and their lives forever. My mom was killed on impact and my dad had to be put on life support. He was literally just waiting to die. I stood by his side everyday, then the day came when they asked me if i wanted to pull the plug. He was making no progress and there was only a 5% chance he would be able to breathe on his own again. By this time he had already been in the hospital for 3.5 months. I had to end his suffering. And mine. Though i would always suffer. It was the hardest desicion i'd ever have to make. My life was never the same after that day. The day of the accident. My name is kevin, and my world just got flipped around on its axis.
