Chapter 1 ・Experiment of Selene Murphy

Yraditium. Isn't it an element of grace when you think of it? The lifesaving capabilities it contains, all that gold in a brisk mine, impossible to obtain whilst worth it to attain. All thanks to Selene Murphy, a scientist from Hanssberg University as well as a panel scientist at NASA. There are 118 elements in the periodical table traditionally and ever since 1975, Yraditium was founded. Selene Murphy discovered the element in her laboratory, and the results were mindblowing. Its first ever look through was shocking as it had all the particles combined in a single atom that can be perfect for human life itself! The only bad news was, the materials were hard to obtain. Sulderremia, a substance found only 15 million light years away from Earth, Nihtalisibia which has a distance of 20 million light years, Treachery's Stone obtained from the planet of KEPLER-1334B 21 million light years away. Selene, with an incredible discovery of Yraditium, also studied the importance of this element and how important this element is to Earth. As we can see, climate change and global warming are happening more often. The "New York 1969 Quake" with a magnitude of 7.9 caused drought and much more death tolls than we can ever imagine. Sea levels are rising, temperatures are plummeting, rising vice versa, etc. Selene also observed those factors and she decided to propose this to the NASA board to send her and a team to find all these materials to save the planet Earth. Her proposal wasn't noticed until 1977 when the NASA board opened to discuss with. Selene with 12 codes of books, ready to present her idea opened the board room and quickly sat, to present her discovery, Yraditium.
Selene ・" Good morning NASA board, if you haven't already figured I'm Selene Murphy a Research Scientist I with experience of 4 years, and I will be showing you my discovery and how it is important to get all those materials with such a precise team." According to Selena.
NASA Board Ellinois had said "Good morning, Selene. What is this discovery that you are proposing to us, and what are the materials?"
Selene responded elaborately "Good question, ma'am Ellinois. It is the 119th element called "Yraditium. It composes of elements that can help Earth's well-being for example this material is unbelievable and I call it Sulderremia. This contains oxygen and water that can purify all water on our planet."
As Selene had explained her reason of her proposal, most NASA boards were confused with her idea, it wasnt ideal but with her presentation it is quite trusting and after 9 hours of presentation, the head of NASA Board of Directors had accepted Selene's proposal and her proposal was named "The Earth to Save Mission" and is expected to launch in 1979. During the years of preparation, Selene had researched Yraditium further more and had met with the team for the The Earth to Save Mission they consisted of a researcher named "Lilia Barnes", a mechanical engineer known as "Sheikh Normani", German-Based pilot Armond Schwazebürg, and American NASA scientist Sheila Walters. After 2 years, in October 12, 1979 they were prepped to set off.
Sheila ・"Are you all ready to set off, everyone?"
NASA Team ・"Yes!"
Sheila ・"Okay, operation set in 3,2,1."
The rocketship had blasted out of the earths atmosphere and into the exosphere they went. The mission would take atleast 50 million worth of light years and that wasn't easy to complete. Selene had helped get the coordinates with Lilia and had it sent to their pilot Armond.
Selene ・"Okay, first up the coordinates of Sulderremia and that is approximately 15,678,200 light years away. Let me get my text book real quick"
Lilia ・"Let me check in your coding book Selene if those are correct. Give me some time to gather this info, roger Armond"
Armond ・"Got it Lilia, we're approaching Jupiter and in around 7 hours we'll get out of the Keipler belt."
Selene and Lilia got to work in order to get those coordinates as they look into book after book. Whilst, two of the other members Sheikh and Sheila exchanged a convo involving life.
Sheikh ・"So, Shiela, what's your life as a NASA scientist?"
Shiela ・"My dads a former Head Scientist in NASA. Of course as a person who had enjoyed space as much as him, I always went to the panel with him, observing missions, learning code, etc. I was a really enthusiastic about astronomical Science ever since at an early age. It's really heartbreaking though that my father died 15 years ago. I was only 21 at that time, barely getting by college"
Sheikh ・"My golly. That's a mouthful! I'm sorry to hear that your father died. He must've created such wonderful history in NASA."
Shiela ・"Mhm. What about you Sheikh? What's going on with life for you at the moment?"
Sheikh ・"Not so much, I'm barely active in engineering with a 7 year hiatus. Glad I've finally gotten to do a mission and it feels good to be back."
As Shiela and Sheikh got to know eachother for several hours of chit-chat meanwhile, on the other panel they are very close to find the coordinates to Sulderremia.
Lilia ・"Selene! I think I found the coordinates to Sulderremia! Come and look!"
Selene ・"Alrighty, just a second." Selene heads to Lilia and with shock, they found the coordinates.
Selene ・"Yes, this is Sulderremia! Let's go to Armond to see the substance's surroundings."
They head to the spacecraft mechanic to tell Armond the coordinates with rushing feet.
Selene ・"Armond! Armond! We found the coordinates to Sulderremia!"
Armond ・"Really? let me see please."
Lilia ・"I got the coordinates, here you go Armond!"
As they typed in the coordinates, the Sulderremia was there but the surroundings were impossible to even implicate!
Armond ・"What in the world is this! The surroundings of Sulderremia..and its inside a planet that's full of poisoned WATER??"
Lilia ・"There has got to be no way, what!?"
Selene ・"That's absurd and crazy. We'll need a space suit enough to handle poison otherwise we'll melt!"
Armond ・"Call Sheikh and Sheila, we need immediate detailed research about this."
Selene and Lilia call Sheila and Sheikh and discussed everything that happened and the location of Sulderremia
Sheikh frantically responded・"So, you're telling me it's inside a gas giant 20 times the size of Jupiter?"
Selene ・"Yes, it is. We've also found it's sun and it isn't that huge, but it is a bluish-white dwarf star which is really hot." replied Selene.
Sheila ・"So, you want us to make a suit capable of immunity to poison?"
Lilia ・"Yes, exactly that."
Sheikh ・"But, how long will it take for us to reach the planet that has Sulderremia?"
Armond replied to Sheikh in the voice box ・"Approximately 5 years."
Sheikh ・"Alright, that's good. That'll be enough time for us to make 6 space suits."
Sheikh and Sheila began to gather all the materials in making the space suits, meanwhile Lilia and Selene help Armond and observe the Keipler Belt. It had already been 2 years ever since they were travelling in space and with a powerful space ship that can travel extremely fast, they can reach the universe wormhole in just months. As 2 years had passed, the Earth had started to drastically change with more stronger calamities each year, more drought, natural disasters, and disintegrated hope. Most environmentalists had searched millions of cures for the recuperation of our dear planet since the only way to save the Earth is  mission The Earth to Save and as to acclerate the process, they find more ways to help but almost all of them are elusive and cannot be done by humans themselves. It's only a matter of years before the Earth deceases and we do not have enough time to get all this going. But, as our nature as humans, we need to protect and shield the only planet we got our hands on. Even though, The Earth to Save has a lot of different stories, they have to sacrifice what they have in order for their families to live another day, know that they are living another day, and lastly, know that they have eachother every day. For example, Selene has a little sister named Agatha under her grandmother's care. Selene's parents had divorced when she was just at the age of six. Selene's grandmother "Ophelia" had taken care of her up to now. Ophelia was the reason why Selene loved Science because Ophelia is a science teacher for secondary. Ophelia's very proud of Selene and at the same time worried for her safety since the mission may be a far too absurd and dangerous for her loving grandchild. Aside from that, the cherry from the cake may have yet to be put, or may never be put. It is only a matter of time before they get to Sulderremia but, will they ever make ALL of it alive? Or, will they make ALL of it dead?
