WINTER NIGHTMARE

When I woke up, the wind was cold. I don't know how the seasons work at the Capitol, maybe Mr Tan can tell me.

But I don't know why my apartment is that cold. I always have to use the heat system, but sometimes it's not enough.

I was eating breakfast with the Tan's, outside the hotel. They had lots of conversation with the fellow members of the District's council and Capitol. And the rumors are not so good...
- Fernanda, how are you? - Ms Tan asked me.
- I am trying not to freak out. My bedroom is cold as heck and I can't change it. All the other rooms are full.
- Don't worry, we won't stay here for too long. Philip has a meeting with Cary Tagawa. Probably it's because of the coal supply we had to cut...
- He's right to do it. We have to know what happened to Lewis.
- I don't know... What if he's gone? We can't do anything else... - She said.
- He is not dead. I believe Mr Tagawa have a surprise for us...

I saw lots of people looking at us at the moment. The paparazzi could not stop taking photos of me reacting. I am speechless. I really am.

I entered the elevator and I couldn't breathe. The air wasn't coming, I thought I was going to have a heart attack or something... I was praying that it would be quick and end this suffering once and for all. But I just dropped and everything else disappeared.

When I woke up, I could not feel my lips. The cold was so intense... What's going on with me? Am I dead? Is Sophia okay?

When I realized that everything was a trap, it was late.

I pointed the gun at the wounded cryomancer, who was actually crying. It was painful for me, but I had to execute him.

- I don't give a damn about him. I am concerned about them because they helped me. - I said, really pissed off.
- And I hope they bring Lewis... We need to know what happened to him. Let's catch the next bullet train to D12. We must get you back in safety, okay?

And that's what we did. I entered the bullet train with Mehcad. I had to give him a hug before sitting.

That was a huge relief for me. But somethings are in my mind still. How Joe found me? Who gave my info to him? Maybe someone from that hotel works for Tagawa too.

I still remember his call... The point is, he doesn't know that I have friends who cares about me.
