The Duke's Daughter!

It was my debut day in the social world today, everything was all prepared I was ready to be the main character of the day! The most awaited day in my life I was turning 18 and my father promised to let me handle the diamond mine in the capital!!!
Everything was going as according to the plan until the former crown Prince decided to show his face in the party. Everyone started roaming around him and getting crazy about his looks but he stole my moment and the audacity that human had to ask me for the dance.
As the duke's daughter I was obliged to dance with him!!
The day ended with everyone gossiping about my luxurious debut and how the former crown Prince looked so dazzling.
A week passed by as if it was a year. It was finally the day I would get to see the diamond mine it was finally in my hand I could use it as per I wish or let it get rot in the capital!!! To pass the document and to sign the papers I had to visit the Royal Palace.
I got out of my carriage and with a full blown confidence and the next second I got out I was greeted by the former Prince once again he looked like he was forced but non of my business. After the greetings I straightly went inside but the moment I was about to step inside there I see the most handsome man in the empire the crown Prince himself I was smitted by his beauty and was swayed away by how he swinged the sword soo effortlessly!!! And there he goes again my moment got ruined again by the god knows what he thinks former crown Prince he asked be if I was okay obviously that was non of his concern so I walked away. The documents got passed easily might be because of my father's influence but yea money is everything.
