"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" An awful noise wakes me with a start I get out of bed and go over to my alarm clock and slam my hand down on the silver button. I rub my eyes and try to get the sleep out of my eyes. I then walk over to my calendar that has big, bold letters reading MAY. I take a red marker from my desk and cross Thursday off it's so close to summer!
(MAGICAL TIME LEAP)
I arrive at school and head to my form room with fall out boy blasting out of my ear buds. I open my form doors and as usual I'm the first one in "Good morning Lizzie" Mrs Brown says
"Morning Mrs Brown" I smile back
I then take my seat at the back, I take my backpack of and get my keys and walk over to my locker.
"Oh Lizzie I don't think I told the class, we have 2 new students today" Mrs Brown starts up conversation with me
"Really? Sounds interesting" I reply taking my Spanish book out
"Yes their names are Tyler and Jason, I need a few people to show them around"
"Yeaahhh?" Oh no sounds like responsibilities
"Would you show him around?" she asks crap
"Sure" I say smiling walking back to my seat silently screaming
When the a few other people arrive (including my friends Sasha and Alice) Mrs Brown calls me and a boy called Jack to the front
"I just got an email, they're in reception do you want to go and collect them"
Collect them?! They're people not a folder
"Yeah sure" I answer looking at Jack he nods. Before I leave I glance at Sasha she's mouthing to me "what's going on?" I stick my tonge out at her cheekily. We walk down the hallway to reception we arrive and wander over to the receptionist, she looks up at us
"Yes?" she asks
"We're here to pick up the new students" Jack says trying to sound smart
"They're over there" she says pointing at 2 kids sat on a mini sofa
We walk over to them the girl looks up
"Hi, my name's Lizzie and this is Jack" I start of
"Hi I'm Tyler and this is Jason" Tyler replies
"Let's go back to form" Jack adds in clearly getting tired of standing up
"Show the way" she says
