The camera opens up at the front of the island with Chris on the dock announcing the viewers at home.

"Last time on Total Drama Island. Twenty-three campers have signed up to spend eight weeks, right here at this crummy old summer camp, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers."

The scene changes to Dj talking to Katie in the mess hall "It's our first challenge. How hard can it be?

Next it shows all the campers on top of the cliff, looking down at the waters below.

"I did not sign up for this" Gwen said

♡Y/n POV♡

I was standing on top of the cliff looking down at the blue sea that was filled with junk and that poor seagull with plastic around Its neck. I was interrupted by my thoughts when Chris was announcing the rules.

"Okay, today's challenge is threefold. Your first task is to jump off this 1,000 foot high cliff into the lake." He said smiling.

 "piece of cake." Bridgette said to Tyler with a smile.

"If you look down you will see two target areas, the wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with, psychotic, man-eating sharks. Inside the area is a safe zone. That's Your target area, which we're pretty sure is shark free." He said still smiling

'Is he ever going to quit smiling.' I thought.

"Excuse me?" Leshawna says, confused on why we're doing this on the first day.

He still continued on.

"For each member of your team that jumps and actually survives, there will be crates of supplies waiting below. Inside each crate are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge. Building a hot tub. The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party tonight. The losers will be sending someone home."

'I need to win this if I don't I don't know what I'll think of myself'

"Excuse me, Chris, they have twelve teammates, we have eleven." Courtney said, pointing at our team. "Hmm" Chris said in thought "okay who doesn't want to go on the Screaming Gophers?" Beth hesitantly raises her hand afraid for judgment. I went up to her and patted her on the back for comfort. She looked at me and gave me a warm smile. She then walked next to Chris.

"Okay, you will go down next to your team's crates and root for your team wearing this." He said, pulling out a rubber chicken hat. He puts it on Beth. " I will not count you as a point so you will go down that." He says pointing at the escalator.
