Sunlight.

Bright sunlight.

"Ughhh..." I rolled over in my water bed, my back aching in protest. Facing the wall, I sighed, drawing in the smell of a Saturday morning.

"Clock...time." I mumbled drowsily.

"9:47 Miss Stark. 'Bought time to get up." A roboty voice told me.

"I didn't ask you." I told the house through a yawn. I sat up and stretched, breathing deep. Sitting indian-style, I reached for my Stark-phone. Pretty tacky name if you ask me, but my dad insisted it. Yawning yet again, I scrolled through Facebook.

"Hey giiiiirl!!! :-* Wanna hang?? <3"

Chuckling to myself I responded to my bestfriend Layla;

"Yea sure! My place?" I wasn't really the kind of person who did all those annoying faces. I didn't get far in my thoughts when a notification popped up on the top of my phone.

SKYPE CALL FROM: Laylabear3003.

I clicked the answer button and ruffled my long black hair for the camera.

"Heeeyyy!!" A blonde shouted through the speaker.

"Hiya Layla. Hows it goin?" I asked

Layla swirled on her computer's spinny chair. "Just fine babe!" she laughed, she was so giggly! "You wanna do something today?"

"Of course! Whatdya have in mind?"

"I don't know, lets go to the mall! I'll come pick you up in a hour k?"

"Yuppers! See ya then!" I waved at the camera on my phone as Layla did a big final spin on her chair, then quit the video. Guess I better get up now. I got up from my warm, comfy bed and walked across my room to my walk-in closet. Picking out a pair of raggedy jean shorts and a neon pink tank top, I layed them on the bed.

Walking to the shower, I tip-toed on the cold tiles. Brrrrrr, I hate getting up in the morning. Once in the bathroom I flipped the switch and jumped into an immediatly hot shower.

Letting the hot water rain onto my shoulders, and the steam engulf my face, MAN it felt good. I may not like getting up, but boy do I love taking hot showers.

After I washed my hair and body, I hopped out onto the (now) heated tiles. I put on my robe, blow-dryed my hair, and got dressed. After I had all that done I did my makeup and it was only 10:30.

"Cali, your up. I made you some toast." My mom said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Thanks." I replied, taking the toast from her.

"Where you off to today?" My mom questioned me while pulling on her blazer. "Nevermind. Listen I have to go to work, and I have my lunch break at noon. But, if I dont see you then I'll see you for supper." She explained. She kissed my head and whispered goodbye as she walked through the door. "Oh and Cal." Sticking her head through the door she called one last thing; "Your dad's in his room. Don't bother him." I nodded and she smiled then waved.

I heard the car start up, garage door open then shut, and just like that I was alone. I scanned the kitchen, pretty big if you ask me. Well, my family kind of lived in a big skyscraper like building. Like my dad always says; Party on the top, business on the bottom.

I chugged my orange juice and swirled around to go brush my teeth when I saw my dad, Tony Stark, in the most rediculous outfit I'd ever seen.
