Dean McCloud picked his keys off the brown cabinet by the door and took one last look at the empty room. The indents in the carpet where his couch and coffee table used to be, the peeling wallpaper, and the window looking out at the stained bricks of the building next door.

Dean passed his scrawny neighbor leaning against the hallway wall smoking and gave him a 'have fun in this dump' smirk as be trailed his suitcase behind him. The boney man stuck out his waist to hike himself off the wall. He grunted and rolled his eyes at Dean, followed by a dry cough as he threw his cigarette butt on the carpet.

Dean stepped out off the dusty lobby and took a deep breath of fresh air. He opened the cab door and told the drab looking driver his new address. After hours of starring into space through the cheap window and drifting off, the cab pulled up in the driveway of Dean's new house. The sound of gravel crunching under the tiles woke Dean up and as the cab halted to a stop, he sighed. His new property was covered with forest and hillsides. The sun set behind the house adding a illuminated effect on the dull building.

Dean was glad he found such a nice property, but little did he know the troubles that came within.
