The 5SOS concert was tonight, I had been waiting almost four months for this night, I'd be meeting my one true love who didn't even know I existed until of course tonight. It was exciting, nerve racking, and crazy all at the same time. I'd have to thank DJ for getting this opening gig, if it wasn't for her this night wouldn't be happening, I guess there were pros to having a semi-famous band. The stylist was almost done with my hair when 5SOS arrived, DJ went to greet them as if they were long term friends, how she was able to talk to her idols or famous people in general without crying or having a panic attack was beyond me, DJ and Michael talked for a bit and then their voices faded probably heading backstage, I tried sitting still while my hair stylist, Kelly finished my hair it had already been more than two hours, my hair was so impossible!

"Alright, KK I'm done! Now go out there and knock 'em dead!" Kel said officially releasing me from the chair

"Thanks, Kel but I think I'll try and focus on not passing out on stage tonight" I replied getting up from the vanity chair

"You'll do fine" Kel reassured me

"Come on Kayanna we go on stage in five!" I heard DJ call from backstage

"Thanks, Kel" I told her before running backstage to meet my band mates.

"Everything's set up and ready for you" Mikey whispered to us

"Thanks, Mike you're the best" DJ said giving him a fist-bump

We waited for the signal from the backstage manager, which felt like forever! Finally DJ opened the curtains and ran onstage, the crowd went crazy! Screaming, pushing, taking pictures. She hadn't noticed the small emo boy in a Pikachu onesie who was leaning on the stage gazing at DJ with clear admiration. The lights dimmed which was our cue to start playing ThermaCare by Chiodos

"We all know, we all know by now that you're the only thing you talk about" DJ's voice filled the venue, some people had already started moshing, some fangirls seemed annoyed that a metal band was opening for 5SOS, too bad for them especially since we play loud and right! DJ bent down to touch the crazed but few Murder Weapon fans as she growled the words to the song, her growls were amazing! Not to loud and not to rough. The emo kid gave DJ huge puppy eyes, to which she ignored since so many fans gave her the same look, and was nothing special, but I knew that it wasn't just a plea to be pulled up on stage it was a magical look, she didn't know it but that kid was Sal the boy she fell in love with two years ago when we had just formed Murder Weapon.

Five songs later we were ready to do our final, I looked around at the band Frannie's hair had poofed, Dan looked like he had just got out of the shower, and DJ had lines of blue hairspray running down her arms, I wondered how hot she was up there in latex pants, leather battle-jacket and tall black boots. I thought twice about asking because knowing DJ she'd probably make me try it at a sound check.

"Alright, fuckers this one is for all you Motionless In White fans out there, this one is Devils Night!" she screamed we began playing the song as DJ pranced around the stage like a elegant emo Gazelle, she glanced at me and smiled, my solo was coming up and I couldn't be more nervous. Finally what felt like an eternity she extended her growl giving me my cue I played that bass like Devin Sola would! Making the fans scream and mosh even harder, as the song was coming to an end we all felt a burst of energy and played the last part loud and hard like Murder Weapon would.

"That was the best opening act we've ever had!" Mikey screamed jumping up like a five year old

"Thanks" DJ said giving 5SOS hugs

"Kayanna your bass was so fucking amazing like I can't even" Mikey told he giving me a huge hug

"Thanks" I managed to squeak Mikey released me

"After the show we're going to celebrate" Mikey announced, DJ gave him a look

"Right after MW, meets their fans" he added quickly

"That's better" DJ called going to change.

I had to get her and Sal to meet after the show, it'd be my way of thanking her for this amazing night and plus we get to celebrate with 5SOS? Defiantly the least I could do. As i headed to the dressing room I heard the girls scream as 5SOS took the stage, only two hours left, how am I gonna pull this off?
