Chapter 2

---Flashback---

I walked inside my house and closed the door "Home!" I yelled but no reply came

Weird

I threw my backpack off and headed towards the kitchen, doing a little happy jig on my way. I turned on the Telly to the boring news and changed it to football. I grabbed some crisps and munched on them as I went up the stairs to go find Josh.

"Josh!" I yelled "Let's go play on the X-Box. I'm gonna beat your butt, were playing Sky Rider!" still no reply

I got up the stairs and walked to his door. That boy was sleeping wasn't he....

Once the door opened I dropped the bag. My face was drained from all blood and couldn't breath. His wall was covered with blood. I gasped, anxiety filling up my body.

"Josh, this isn't funny" I warned going closer to the red substance. Hesitating, I reached forward feeling the warm gooeyness. I smelt it and it smelled nothing like candy blood.

It smelled real

In fear I ran out of his room and looked both ways for any signs of blood.

"Josh! Stop it, its a sick joke", There was no trace but I went left.

I ran to my mom and dad's room and slammed open the door.

No one.

My eyes became glassy and I felt so confused. What is happening?

A single scream echoed the hallway as a shot gun fired.

I felt numb but ran towards the sound. It was from the basement.

Tears streamed down my face as I ran until I hit the door that went downstairs. I let out a little sob and put my ear against the door.

"Your the last one" the deep British accent rang in my ear

"Please" my mother cried "Don't kill me" her voice was so sincere and she sounded like a little kid to a big bully

"It's not my fault what your husband did" his voice growled. My father? What did he do?

"You shouldn't have killed my son, he did nothing" she sobbed

His laugh roared in my ears and rang back and forth. It was a laugh I couldn't forget, or ever forgive "I was ordered to kill all the Horan's"

"By who?" She pleaded

He snickered "Goodbye Mrs. Horan" the horrible sound of a shoot gun fired again. My mom whimpered until nothing.

I was shivering of fear, absolute terror. The tears dripped of my chin and onto my shirt.

But then the angry settled in.

I opened the door and slid down the railing to the man. He had a black moist quiff that suit his perfect face. His muscles on his arms showed he was incredibly strong and I had a low chance of surviving him. His tawny fierce eyes showed hate and disgust.

In one swift move he knocked me off my feet knocking the air out of me. I landed hand on the ground next to my dead family. I looked at each one. My mothers face and eyes were losing color and my father and brother had blood all over them.

This can't be happening. I was normal 30 minutes ago.

Each one of them had a bullet in there heart and tears swelled my eyes. Another sob escaped my mouth and I looked up to the man with his gun pointing at me.
