So the plan was pretty complex so to speak. Nico wants Julian to hack into the Galeons servers and bug his computers--to know any transactions that would come across. I said that would be impossible, their system is downright secured and wouldn't be easy. Julian said one word to my statment.

He said, "bet."

Such confidence.

Shina will be our first line of defense, which means she will basically be first to approach the Loutons Hotel Charity event on January 30th. Playing the part as one of Nicolais' mistresses. Since apparently everyone knows he likes to share so it won't be out of the ordinary for anyone. Just a side piece other than his wife, me.

Caspian will be on the up stairs level of the Hotel, seeking out any soldiers that are guarding that night. It is after all the Galeons Charity, so it'll be wise to eliminate any who can get in our way.

Nico has the twins up on the ceiling, where our escape route will be when the job is done.

The plan is too abduct Edmond Galeons wife.  A leverage we need to infiltrate our next move, to find out if Edmond Galeon will come forth with no soldiers and would have to choose...

His wife...

Or his Empire...

I told Nico that he would no doubt pick his Empire over his wife. But then thought of my life I spent with those two raising me.

I remember them like yesterday,  the good parts--

"Sweetheart, did you take a bite of your birthday cake before dinner? Now-now, you are setting a bad example to our daughter." Mama Galeon said.

Papa Edmond chuckles, "I'm sorry, hun." He then looks down on my seven year old self, with softness in his eyes, "what would I do without your mother, kid. I would be a very unlucky man without her."

I giggle, "you love mama so much!"

Papa Edmond grins, love in his eyes, "I would end the world for her."

I have shaken the memory away, "are you sure he will take the bait" I asked my husband.

Nico nodded, "I have a theory that this whole entire operation isn't his doing. My gut says she is this olive branch we need."

After that, he gave me my duty. And let's just say I wasn't happy in the slightest.

He wants me to get Edmonds attention and keep him away from his wife for them to continue this plan. About how I am going to do it, is absurd and downright yucky.

"Are you sure?" I had asked him.

Nicolai had looked away from me, grinding his molars, "da. But if he lays one finger on you, I will fucking ruin him."

There was something in his eyes though, something I couldn't put together. Like...he was hiding something from me? When leaving the office after the planning I had one last look to Nico before the office door closed. Caspian was the only one who stayed with him when we all leave.

Before the door closed, I saw Nicolai lower his head and uses his hands to grip the sides of his hair in what looks like torment. Caspian lands a hand on his shoulder...

I barely heard the words, but still caught it before the door clicks shut with them on the other side.

"It's best this way." Caspian said.

What could that mean?

All of that was two days ago.

The day after I went to see Donovon who is doing much better, though his words stayed in my mind, "once I'm out of this bed, I want you beneath me, screaming. So leave me be to recover." He promised.

Um, I think he was on heavy meds when he said that to me. So he may not remember such crass words he promised me.

Now its present time and it's late at night while walking down the hall to the bedroom. I'm supposed to start training tomorrow with Caspian--maybe I should ask him what that was all about when he told Nicolai "it's best this way." And why my husband looked so...sad, before I left the office.

That look haunts me and my mind is reeling in all what it could be. My thoughts suddenly shaken and scatter away when I stop walking and see Donovan walking about--these Russian men are something else. Must be in the water their drinking because as soon as I see him walking down the hall beside my husband and his brother--all in suits--like nothings happened, like he didn't just have major surgery a mere week ago.

Im in awe at the sight before I start walking again. Of course, I make a mistake in my own footing and accidentally trip over myself with my own damn foot but thankfully righted myself. All three of them stop and turn their heads toward me.

I'm wearing my silky soft pink pajamas and fuzzy slippers. My hair down and combed, teeth brushed and ready for bed. My head bandage long gone.

I feel my pulse hammering seeing the weight in all their eyes, which told me something sinful, alluring, and fucking preditorial. Like a fever dream becoming reality.

Nicolai bites his bottom lip while Dimitris' eyes darken.

Then my eyes shift to Donovon---

I squeal out loud in surprise when Donovan starts running down the hall towards me.

I whirl around to try and run but a hand had already gripped around my wrist--merda, he is fast!

About to scream out in shock, Don wraps his other hand over my mouth, he pulls me back againt his chest and whispers in my ear, "I've recovered, sweetheart."

Cazzo.

He remembered his promise.

Don turns me around in his arm, hand still over my mouth when my husband and Dimitri get closer. They stop in front of me, towering over my short frame. Donovon leans his head over my head and sighs contently.

My eyes find Nico's brilliant blues staring back at me, there...right there. That look in his eyes!

He looks so fucking sad!? Why?

I pull Don's hand away from my mouth, "Papi? W-whats wrong?" I whisper.

His eyes flicker before they soften, he smiles, "nothings the matter, ангел." Then he looks over to the twins, "let us all go to bed, shall we?"

Tomorrow, I decided that tomorrow I was going to find out what he is hiding from me.

All tomorrow's problem, but tonight...

I wanted no more than to feel the warmth of my husbands arms and the twins nearness.
