I'm writing this book with shaking hands, I'm afraid. In my old age my hands are quite weak. That is irrelevant though. If you are reading this, it means that you have the Sight. The Sight allows you to see Death and know when others are to die, down to the second in the most powerful case yet. As someone with our abilities you have the ability to fight Death and can tell what steps to take to avoid Death. A step that would cause your Death, you carefully tread around that spot. Whether you do it subconsciously or not, you still do it.
I'll save the rest for later. The Deathsong is my concern at the moment. As you might know, the Deathsong can make anyone past their Death date immortal. As you read this I hope you are strong, fast, and smart enough to learn the Deathsong. First though, let me take you back to the beginning of the Ferir clan.
