In the middle day, y/n was giving classes to the young Metkayina on the beach, and all of a sudden, she heard the calling horn and looked behind her and saw banshee flying in the air with navi on them
She led the children back to their parents and walked over to where the crowd was, curious she got a little closer, then the rest of the Metkayina
Till she heard her clan leader, Tonowari called her name, giving her a look to get back. She understood and went by her friends Tsireya,Ao'nung and rotxo
Even though she was far, she could see a young boy the same age as her and kept meeting eyes with him the whole time
Till Tonowari called her name and her friends " y/n, Tsireya, and Ao'nung will show you the way of water"
We all looked at each other , y/n and Tsireya smiling at each other, exited, while Ao'nung was complaining to his father, and rotxo was just looking shocked but holding his complains in not wanting trouble
Y/n walked up to them and started talking to them. "we will show you our village." her and Tsireya helped grab one of the newcomers' belongings while leading them to their new home
"This is where you all will be staying," Tsireya said while setting down the basket she was holding
Y/n looking around their new place liking the design, she never noticed how pretty this hut was
Y/n still holding the basket, she got a tap on her shoulder and turned slowly, still gazing at the designs
When she was fully turned, she saw the boy she kept meeting eyes with. She never noticed how blue the Omaticaya were
"Um, sorry, am I in your way ," asked y/n said as she brushed to the side ." No, sorry, just um, my stuffs in that basket, sorry." He said
"Oh, I am so sorry. I didn't mean to, here," she said, handing the basket
"Don't blame yourself, here let me grab that," He said, grabbing the box and putting it behind him and looking back at her
"I'm Neteyam, by the way," the dark blue boy said. "Neteyam? Doesn't that mean kind, responsible, and possessing strong virtue?" Y/n, she asked Neteyam
"Yes, it does. I barely knew that," He said with a soft chuckle. Y/n giggled, moving a little strand of hair behind her high ears
Jake heard their quiet laughs and looked to where they were, jake Knew. Instantly, they liked each other, jake chucked and looked back down, unpacking
Netiri heard jake and gave him a confused look. "What is it ma'jake?" Jake pointed at neteyam and y/n with a soft smile
Netiri looked at smiled and laughed a little, knowing as well she nudged jake and went back to unpacking, but she looked again a soft smile came on her face
Remembering when her and jake back in their late adult years and how they met, netiri loved looking back in her memory's, before it went down hill, before they went into hiding
After a while, y/n asked neteyam, "Do you need help unpacking?"
"Uh yea, actually I might need some help," He said, y n nodding and crouched down him, unpacking
While helping him unpck, she took little glimpses at Neteyam and his eyes, and hair she didn't know what this feeling was in her stomach, it felt strange she never felt like this ever
She thought it was some raw fish she had eaten the day before, but it wasn't a nauseous feeling. It felt like she was getting tickled on her stomach, being tickled felt like a weird sensation, you didn't how to feel about it, you want it to stop but on the other hand you don't want it to stop
As she was gonna steal another look, she looked up, and she saw Neteyam looking at her already
They both just stared at other in silence, y/n smiled, and neteyam followed
They just looked at each other, smiling into eachothers eyes, but y/n broke the silence by saying, " You on water on your forehead" wiping it off
"Oh shoot, really?" "Yes there's a lot of water in fact," she pointed out
"I don't feel it," He said, also wiping his forehead as well "because I got it off look," she said, lowering her hand down to show Him
He looked down, but as soon as he looked down, she flicked his nose he flinched and looked at her
She started laughing "skxawng" standing up, walking to Tsireya
He looked behind him, where she walked to sitting by Tsireya, whispering to her, her, and Tsireya giggling
Y/n looked at Neteyam,her smile grew bigger while looking at him, he smiled back but a little more then her, he could tell she was blushing and she looked back down helping Tsireya with something
