Into the pharaoh's..!!

The pyramids of Giza,Egypt which majestically rising from the desert sands of  the Nile valley, remains to amaze even after 40 centuries after its construction.

This is an exemplary technological skills of ancient man, but the questions such as how & why they were built are still  partly answered.

The mentioning of pyramids can be traced in many legends.In The Arabian Nights, the tale of al-Mamun, caliph of Baghdad & his son said to have opened tomb of Pharaoh Cheops, witga golden statute & precious gems.Arab authors declare that the pyramid holds the all the knowledge of the ancient Egypt.

In middle ages,they believed it was built by Joseph turbines tackle the 7 years of famine as depicted in cupola of the Basilica of St Mark in Venice.

But it was the Europeans in 19th century did systematic study and these pyramids or the royal tombs for the god-king, Since the Egyptians believed in after life in which human contiue to live even after death, Hence their bodies are to be protected and preserved.

Another fascinating feature of Giza is Sphinx, It was actually discovered by Napoleon in 1798,

it was buried for hundreds of years inside sand due the desert sandstorm.Everybody is familiar that it consist of a faeries of a human and body of an animal.But historians say the face is that of a Pharaoh Chephren..but it was long thought it is a face of a woman.

The Hieroglyphs...

The ancient Egypt used language of symbols which now called hieroglyphs.Many years the archeologist found it very hard to crack it...but it was a soldier in 1799 if Napoleon army uncovered a black basalt.It must be an important finding in the Egyptian archeology.Because the cracked stone of 3ft contains 14 lines of hieroglyphs in which two Greek words meaning 'sacred carving', 32 lines of demotic script and 54 lines of Greek.And scholars quickly established that the inscription were translation of one another, so providing a key to the baffling hieroglyphs used in time of the pharaohs.

But there is still doubt among the archeologist that how did  they built  such a so superhuman scale??? can the royal vanity alone be the reason? Or is there something other secret motive still buried the desert?????
