Moshing Hurts

After getting my nose checked out, and bandaged, we made our way back to the main stage. Unfortunately, we missed the rest of Bring Me The Horizon's performance.
A band I didn't know about was playing, so Mason and I took the opportunity to roam around the merch tables and tents.
Most of it was overpriced t-shirts, but it was still fun to look.
We ended up by the small cluster of tents that give away free stuff, and we both picked up a few things. Mason got a Vans hat and a couple stickers. I got a matching hat, stickers, and a small water bottle.
Beartooth was playing in about 10 minutes so we headed back over to the stage.

In the middle of a song called "Ignorance Is Bliss" the crowd started a Wall Of Death.
Mason was stuck in between two larger guys, and couldn't squeeze out before they charged at the other side.
Mason's eyes stayed locked on mine as he was pushed down and trampled by the wall.
I shoved some people out of the way to get to him. He was still laying on the ground, not unconscious, but hurt. He was clenching his stomach, where I assumed he got stepped on.
I knew he was going to be okay, but still, I was pissed. I tried to pick him up, but being the scrawny little shit that I am, I couldn't. I looked up and tried to find something to prop him up on, but nothing was in sight.
Then the music stopped.
And the crowd stopped moving.
Then all eyes were fixed on me and Mason.
"Guys, do me a favor and step back from the young man on the ground." It took me a minute to realize that the man speaking was Caleb Shomo, the lead singer of Beartooth.
"Young miss, is he hurt?" He asked me.
I nodded. "Yeah. He got stepped on." I had to shout for him to be able to hear me.
Caleb dropped the mic, and jumped down off stage.
He walked over to Mason. "Here, I'll help you carry him backstage. The first aid people will get him from there."
"Thank you."
We picked Mason up, and put his arms around our shoulders and got him backstage. We sat him on a table to wait for the first aid group to check on him. Caleb then walked back out on stage and finished their performance. When the group walked backstage, while Mason was being taken care of, Caleb asked if he was okay. I told him he was and thanked him for the help.
I also gave him a hug.
I mean, it is Caleb Shomo after all.
