what next?

My phone

I walked around. I was a little confused about the whole "mind reading" thing. I wondered if there were any restrictions involved. And if it only lasts for a while.

"Uhh... Ahh!" I tripped over a large, brick-like object. I felt soar but not brocken. I looked back to see what it was that I had tripped over. It was a brick with a cell phone on it. I recognized the phonecase as my own from the world before. When I was at the party with my new friends, I set it on the table. But how could it have gotten here?

"Well, I brought it for you. I thought you might like it." It was Ivan. He had another phone in his hand. He bent over and picked the phone off the brick and tossed it at me, still lying on the ground.

"Why even? Why would you put it on a brick in my way?"
"How else could I get your attention?"
"Tap my shoulder or call my name."
"Well... welllllll...... Thats just no FUUUN!"
I sighed, "Oh," I smiled, "Ok, then why did you think I needed my phone, huh?"

He passed me a folded up note sheet. It was folded around 4 times, into a square shape. I glanced at him as he walked gracefully away. He swished his cape and glanced at me. I blushed and moved my hair behind my ear. I wondered if he felt about me, the way I felt about him.

I realized that i wonder about so much. Even at this moment I wonder about so much. I wonder where I really am, I wonder if Ivan is who says he is, I wonder why Rabi, a rabitt, can talk and walk, I wonder if my family cares, and most of all, I wonder what this paper, sitting in my hand, really says, but that I can check right now.

Im just not sure I should check so soon. I flapped it back one fold and checked. Nothing yet. I folded it back, one more time. Not a single word. Once more, I folded out another flap. Nothing, still. Finally, if nothing was there, I would feel like a fool. But luckily, there was something there.
