The start of plant island

Chapter 10: Confront

Tawkerr and parlsona woke up after a nice, calming, night. All morning they just cuddled whilst kissing, as that's the usual stuff that a couple like them would do.

"mmmmmmth... Mmmth.... *GASP* jeez you nearly took my breath away parls!" tawkerr gasped, after parlsona basically choked him with her lips.
"sorry! It's just that you have nice lips to kiss... Now c'mere.." parlsona then proceed to make out with tawkerr a third or fourth time, who's counting really? And then finally stopped.

"gah, im tired. Ima go shower!" sighed parlsona, "don't come in please!"
"i won't parls, don't worry!"

As tawkerr waited for parlsona to be finished, he practiced his vocals.
"me.. Me...ME...MEEEEEE!"

Everybody in the castle heard all his voice cracks, but they all just ignored it and carried on practicing for the performance later.

"Jeez, i need to actually try singing. Let's see..... EvErYtHiNg HeRe Is AlIvE! No, no... Wait.."

After hours of practice, tawkerr finally got his notes correct.

And parlsona was finally out of the shower.

"holy blassoom it is steamy in there! So, tawks, what do ya wanna do today?"

"I'm not sure, but... I do have something important to discuss with you. Something about... How I'm treated around here."

"ok.... Go on..."

"so, daily, i get ignored and bullied for no reason. I'm always spoken smack about behind my back, and, I'm always mistreated. I don't know why the others treat me like this, but yeah. You get the point. And i just... Kinda want you to do something about it. Everyone only listens to you, (including me), and i just wanna be spoken up about. I hope you understand."

"right...... *sob*..... Tawkerr, i.... I..."

Parlsona was beginning to cry. She felt guilty for all of this happening, for never noticing.
"IM SORRY I NEVER NOTICED!... *sniff*.... I'M SO SORRY!!"

"wait parls, it's not-"

"IT IS MY FAULT! I NEVER PAY ENOUGH ATTENTION TO YOU, AND-"

"shhh, just calm down... Come here..."

Tawkerr tightly embraced parlsona until she stopped sobbing. And when they finally let go, parlsona let down her hair, and smiled at tawkerr.

"thank you, i feel alot better now because of that."

"no problem. Do you, um... Wanna just read 'the start of cold island', then?"

"yeah.. Yeah... I just need to brush my hair a moment. I won't be long."

"k, I'll wait then."

Parlsona delicately brushed her wet, wavy, hair out into a ponytail. She then sat down with tawkerr, as they both read together.

"gee, this book has a lotta drama..."

"yeah, what kind of idiot would kiss another girl right infront of his gf? I'm too endured into this book to chat, keep reading!"

After the performance, everybody went to go grab drinks.

All kinds of ones.

Parlsona and tawkerr sat together near the colossal beady yellow eyes of their island.

" hey... Tawkerr? "

".... Yeah? "

" i kinda wanna confront everbody about how you feel..."

"about what?"

"about what you told me last night."

"oh! U-um..that's not necessary parls, i-"

Parlsona just walked away, fists clenched.

"I'm not letting them treat you like that."

He was too stunned to speak, so he just hid behind the bushes, and watched...

She stood on the castle entrance, and dinged a wine glass.

Ever monster stopped in their tracks, they knew something was wrong.

" hi! Um, i need a LONG word with you guys."

...

"sO? SAy It tHeN!" squawked a gobbleygourd.

She proceeded to have a long chat about how she thinks everyone could be a bit nicer to tawkerr. About how he feels, and how she feels.

This was an-hour-long chat, so she made everyone listen.

"understand?"

Silence.

"UNDERSTAND?"

"yes..."

"good. Have a good rest of the day."

Tawkerr had never seen parls so on edge. It worried him, for some reason.

But they both just went on the rest of their day, like nothing ever happened....
