TO RIYAH, IT was always difficult for her to express her feelings to people and especially boys. which is why she had only ever had one boyfriend and that was CG, but the two dated for a short period of time in middle school so when they broke up, it didn't effect their friendship at all.

so yesterday when Notti had asked Riyah if she felt the same way about him that he felt about her, she had even hesitated to message him back.

Notti was a very straightforward forward person, meaning that if he wanted something or felt a certain way towards something, he made it extremely clear. there was no doubt in Notti's mind that he felt a strong feeling towards the girl so he made sure that she knew of it.

this trait of Notti kind of scared L'Riyah in a way. she wasn't used to expressing herself romantically as much as he was so it was all new to her, she tried her best to let him know how she felt without telling him but apparently she wasn't the best at doing so.

Notti and L'Riyah were both in the girls bedroom as they sat on top of her bed, he had been in her house for almost an hour after he messaged her saying how much he missed her.

not much had changed after they both confessed to how much they liked each other which made Riyah happy, the last thing she wanted was for things to be awkward between them.

she occasionally turned to Notti to see what he was doing as Notti did the same, she enjoyed the silence between them. she loved having relationships with people where she felt comfortable enough to sit in silence with them.

there was something about Notti that made her more interested. she liked how happy he was all the time no matter what happened to him, how funny he was and how he could always think of things to say when in difficult situations.

Notti could say the same for her. over the past three months of talking to Riyah, he found her intriguing. he liked how even though she was a drill rapper, she always kept to herself, how she had a good sense of humour but could still be responsible and how she cared so much for her close ones.
